The slightly curved engraved blade (86cm) detailed 'Royal Artillery' with initials 'C.J.C.B', and numbered 68046 on the spine, with open form nickel plated hilt, wire bound fish skin grip, fully chequered backstrap, gold sword knot,leather bound steel scabbard. Sold together with a number of copied photographs, provenance by direct descent.
