A miniature Imperial German officer’s sword, plated blade 7½” with etched panel on each side with inscription “Du schweistest in Wettern Germanias Schwert, Du schufest das Reich uns im Weltall geehrt, Du schlangst um Alldeutschland ein ehernes Band. Willkommen Du Reichsschmied im bergischen Land!”, the brass hilt with winged figure (Germania?) crowning the German eagle, in its leather covered metal scabbard. GC Plate 4
An ERII RN officer’s sword, straight fullered blade 31”, by Wilkinson, no 99076 (for 1971) on backstrap, etched with crowned ERII cypher and crowned fouled anchor within roped oak wreath panels, regulation gilt half basket hilt incorporating crowned fouled anchor and turn down inner portion which locks to scabbard, lion’s head pommel and backstrap, wirebound sharkskin grip, in its brass mounted leather scabbard (kinked, some wear). GC (guard slightly mis-shapen)
A similar sword, broad curved fullered blade 31½”, triple bar iron guard with sideloop, pommel and backstrap, ribbed darkwood grip, in leather covered scabbard with long iron chape, the leather stamped “I. broad arrow. M(unclear)/ S” and “Co 1917” (?unclear). Basically GC (scabbard leather repaired, chape dented, hilt pitted, hilt and chape painted black)

A 19th century hunting hanger, heavy SE blade 15¼”, with narrow back fuller (repainted), cruciform hilt with brass crossguard and small turn down shell guard, slightly tapering panelled bone grip, the front inset with 3 brass ovals, brass pommel cap, in its brass mounted scabbard with acorn frog stud and provision for companion knife. Basically GC (some wear and rust pitting, cracks to chape and locket, hilt a little mis-shapen)
A continental cavalry trooper’s sword, c 1820, slightly curved, shallow fullered blade 32½”, with small M.G mark at forte, steel hilt with flattened crossguard and slender langets, knucklebow, slightly forward sloping pommel with flat top and oval boss, plain backstrap, wirebound leather grip, in its steel scabbard with single ring. GC (refurbished overall).
An 1827 pattern officer’s sword of The Rifle Brigade, almost straight, fullered blade 33”, by E Thurkle, Maker, Soho, London, etched with crowned VR cypher, strung bugle and “The Rifle Brigade, The Prince Consort’s Own” within scrolled fenestrated panels, regulation steel hilt, the guard incorporating crowned strung bugle, stepped pommel and backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, in its steel scabbard with 2 rings. Basically GC (pitted and worn overall)

Basically GC (blade heavily cleaned and worn through for 1” in fuller)
