A late 19th/early 20th century North African twin sword set, swords with pierced straight double edged blades, the whole of the blades with acid etched decoration, length of the blades 39cm, the grips decorated with amber coloured stone and crocodile skin complete with a crocodile skin scabbard crocodiles head and legs, length of whole 75cm
A Knights Of Colarado ceremonial sword by the Henderson-Ames Co., Kalamazoo, Michigan with ivory handle and helmet pommel, length 96cm, original leather carrying case. Condition Report: Leather case lettered in black ' E.E. Copelin. Lead, SO, Dak.' and the stitching coming away with cracking. Blade and scabbard tarnished and rusting with plating worn off to both. Blade with the name 'Ernest E Copelin' and with his monogram on the ivory handle.
A Japanese WWII offficers sword (Katana), Showa period. The green metal scabbard with brass tachi mounts in traditional style, the blade signed Kogawa, length overall 112cm (see illustration). Condition Report: length of blade is 75.5 cm. Thickness 8 mm. The surface has many scratches, discolouration, and very minor nicks to the cutting edge. Original finish removed.

An 1821 Pattern Royal Artillery officer's sword by Wilkinson, the blade numbered 24361, with leather scabbard. Records show that this sword was sold to its former owner in April 1885. Three bar guard, shagreen grip a/f, length of blade 34.5in. The blade etched with the Royal Arms (supported), VR cipher, RA motto and the initials C H de R. This sword was formerly the property of Brig Gen de Rougement CB, CMG, MVO, DSORA. Brig Gen de Rougement served in Expedition to Dongola, The Nile Expeditions, The South African War and the Great War. Supporting documentation available to view.
