AN 1840 PATTERN CONSTABULARY SOCKET BAYONET, the triangular section blade, hollow ground to the lower two sides and fitted with a spring clip to the top, the socket engraved C over 7806, contained in its brass mounted leather scabbard, together with an 1879 Pattern Artillery Sword bayonet with scabbard. The former with staining to the blade, the latter with surface rust over all. (2)
