In leather bound field scabbard. The scabbard pierced, apparently by a bullet or shrapnel strike.

1856 Pattern Pioneers Sawbuck sword. Straight, spear point sawback blade 22.5". Ricasso marked 'Wilkinson' London, '03, W/D Arrow, bend test X and inspection marks. Solid brass ribbed grip with knucklebow. In its brass mounted leather scabbard (chape a/f) Locket top marked '3.1900' (March 1900) & 'R.S.R.3' (3rd Bn. Royal Scots Regiment). Blade with some staining over polished blade. Leather a little dry with some a/f stitching near the chape.

In its leather scabbard with brass chape (marked with Indian Govt. inspection stamp?) Heavy duty leather scabbard with laced frog and brass studs. Military numbers '39' & '603' stamped to the frog reverse. (Some light service wear scuffing to scabbard). A large & well made military knife for Gurka use in WW1/WW2 with service wear. A 'sleeper'.
Battle of Britain commemorative dirk. D/E blade 11". Ricasso marked with Wilkinson sword logo & etched dedication to the RAF in the Battle of Britain 1940. Gilt crossguard & pommel white composition grip. In its gilt brass & leather scabbard. Contained in a gilted wooden box with plaque & medallion. Crown & Eagle badge to box lid. The whole in mint condition.
Bayonets: French 19th Century Bayonets. 1) a Model 1866 Chasspot Sabre bayonet in its steel scabbard. Excellent blade in original grease made at St Etienne in 1874. In its matching numbered scabbard (painted black). 2) a Model 1874 Gras Epée bayonet in its steel scabbard. Clean blade made at St Etienne 1879. Iron mounts and scabbard pitted and painted black. Both in decent condition. (2)
Bayonet: A British Pattern 1856 Volunteers bayonet in its steel mounted leather scabbard. Good blade 58cms with double R mark. Chequered leather grip. Pommel rusted button seized. Good chequered leather grips. Grips complete, stitching good. Leather dry. Requires a clean otherwise a decent example.
Fine and interesting Pattern 1882 Cavalry Troopers Sword. Ricasso marked 'WD' and 'Y.C.MX' (Yeomanry Cavalry Middlesex). Reverse Riscasso marked '9/90' (Sept 1890) with various inspection marks. The steel scabbard is marked '20 H 11.01' (20th Hussars Nov.1901). Interestingly the bowl guard shows an issue mark '1.15' (Jan 1915). Heavy blade 34.5". Dull steel finish with a good clean blade and markings. Excellent chequered leather grip. A fine example, a sleeper.
French Model 1833 Naval Boarding Knife. Blade 17cm. Plain wooden grip with lanyard ring. Hollow ground triangular section blade made from obsolete French bayonets. French 'B' inspection mark to ricasso. These knives were used by the French Navy in the Crimea. In 1915, 10,800 were brought out of stores and issued to 'Four resolute men' in each squad for cleaning the trenches. Brass cross guard. No scabbard.
Good and interesting Pattern 1888 MKI 2nd type bayonet. Clean blade 12", ricasso marked '5.97' (May 1897) reinspected 1900 (when the battalion went overseas). W/D marked to reverse. Pommel stamped '2 NK' (2nd Battalion Norfolk Regiment). In its steel mounted leather scabbard with teardrop stud. Stitching excellent, leather supple. Good walnut grips. Sold with information on the 2/Norfolks in the Boer War. Bayonet in good condition with service wear.
Good Pattern 1888 MKII bayonet for the Long Lee Enfield Service Rifle. Good blade 12" marked on the Ricasso. Crown ER & 12-01. Reverse with EFD (Enfield manufacture) bend test & inspection mark. Pommel stamped 'V' (Volunteer Battalion) 'A & S.H.' (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders) Good grips in its steel mounted leather scabbard (stitching excellent).
Imperial German Model 1884/98 knife bayonet. Clean blade 10". Ricasso stamped 'Weyersberg Kirschbaum & cie Solingen' & on the reverse 'Erfurt'. Top of blade with 'W' over 85 (1885) Excellent polished grips. Locket marked to the 2nd Reserve Infantry Regiment. 12th Company weapon No78. In its steel mounted leather scabbard. (Some pitting to mounts). Overall in good condition.
Imperial German Model 1898/05 'Butcher' bayonet. Two piece ribbed grips, no flashguard. Blade 14.5' dated 1915 made by R. Stock & Co Berlin Marienfeld. In its steel scabbard marked 'Waffenfabrik Mauser AG Obendorf' A good clean example with sharp point. In its steel scabbard (2 dents) Overall a good clean example with service wear. High ears example scarce.
Interesting Knife in the style of Indian 'PESH KAB2', wood grips, brass mounts with 'HQ. M.C/WS./MK/LINK'. In a fitted wooden scabbard with name J.D. Gregson on panel. Good quality and condition. Plus Old Indian Dagger 'KARD' blade 7" (tip a/f) wire bound, wooden grip. Worn and of some age, in its leather scabbard (2)
