A mid Victorian officer sword with chagrin hilt ****Condition report**** Postage to Mainland UK £25+VAT=£30 Very slight wobble to finger guard. Hinge section good. Char green grip good. Blade is marked ELLYET Portsea, Blade looks straight but is badly tarnished Scabbard is a tight fitting & in poor condition. Leather has split along stitched seam and worn/broken into 2 pieces. Brass fittings tarnished but in good condition.
Victorian police constabulary short sword and scabbard, with fish skin grip, brass guard and leather scabbard.71cm long Condition report: The sword is in pretty good order generally, there is very very light surface corrosion/dirt that would easily clean up with a little TLC. The guard and grip are tight on the blade and the blade is straight and hasn't been messed with. The grip shows a small amount of wear. The scabbard as can be seen from the images has perished. The end cap is missing.

Roman Bronze Figurine. Date unknown. Copper-alloy, 15.30 grams. Size: 41.71 mm. A cast bronze figurine in the form of a male standing figure. Head facing right, his left hand resting on the top of his scabbard and his right hand holding the sword as if posed to draw. The piece certainly has a lot of age but an exact reference has not been found. From an old collection of metal detector finds.

The leather scabbard is in two pieces and is approx 71 cm total. Blade has writing has writing on its back possible "Voroier et Copm". See image for more details.
