A tribal knobkerrie, a walking stick, a sword, with a carved wood handle, in a matching scabbard (3) Condition report Report by GHThe knobkerrie is 73 cm long. Generally in good condition, metal bindings tight and no obvious damage to the wood. Very thin split down the shaft, probably part of the wood grain.
A Fairbairn Sykes FS fighting knife, World War II pattern, by Wilkinson Sword, with leather and metal scabbard, by repute belonged to a Spitfire pilot of 616 squadron Condition report: Signs of wear to the grip but otherwise good, the information concerning provenance has been verbally supplied b the vendor.

A courtsword, slender DE blade 31”, with name Humphrey’s & Crook Ltd, 3, Haymarket, London SW1, in panel near forte on one side and etched with trophy on one side and foliage on the other, in scrolled panels, studded brass hilt with shell guard, crossguard, knucklebow flattened urn pommel, swollen square section grip, with gilt lace and bullion tassel knot (worn) in its brass mounted leather scabbard. GC
An Austrian cavalry trooper’s sword, d 1855, slightly curved, fullered blade 33½”, stamped with Austrian eagle, 1855, W/AD on one side at forte and maker’s name E S Jung on the other, brass reinforce into steel semi bowl guard with reinforced edges and pierced with 4 holes (right) and 3 holes (left) at forte, grooved cap shaped pommel, and backstrap with ears, ribbed leather grip, in its steel scabbard with 2 rings. GC (some dark rust/pitting to hilt and scabbard) an untouched example worthy of careful cleaning. Plate 9
A similar sword, plated blade 34½”, with maker’s mark of Clemen & Jung, Solingen, the gold anodised aluminium hilt impressed with oak leaves on the backstrap and stylised heraldic shield on the knucklebow, the langet and crosspiece with eagle, wire bound black painted metal grip, in its black painted scabbard, with portepee. GC Plate 2
A post 1902 RN officer’s sword, straight fullered blade 32”, etched with R Arms on one side and crowned fouled anchor on the other, in scrolls, regulation semi basket hilt incorporating crowned fouled anchor, and with turn down inner portion which locks to scabbard, lion’s head pommel and backstrap, wirebound sharkskin grip, with gilt knot in its brass mounted leather scabbard with 2 rings. GC, the hilt retaining a little gilt (blade some wear).

A good Seitengewehr M1898 presentation sword bayonet, plated pipe backed blade 20¾”, DE at point, with knight’s head mark at forte, and etched all around for ½ length with foliate panels including hare, fox, deer and trophy of weapons, with blued panel on one side inscribed “Westf. Jager-Balt. No 7”, plated hilt with 2 studs to ribbed wooden grips, in its line panelled black leather scabbard with plated locket with stud, and chape. VGC, a crisp example. Plate 4
