19th century Chinese Jian short sword, gilt metal pommel and hilt along with ornate mounts to the tortoiseshell scabbard, blade 41cm long. CONDITION REPORT:There is wear to brass mounts. The ribbed wooden grip is worn in places, there is some cracking and wear to the edge of the tortoise shell scabbard. There are some slight dents along the edge of the blade.
A British naval officers dress sword with shagreen grip and leather scabbard with etched blade, 81cm long. CONDITION REPORT: The dress sword is in good all round condition. The blade has some areas of pitting and corrosion. Very slight play in the blade at the hilt. The sword is tight in the scabbard and doesnt go in flush?
British naval officers dress sword, the blade is etched with crowned anchor amidst scrolls made by Henry Wilkinson, London, retailed by Gienes. Gilt metal hilt with lions head, pommel and wire bound fish skin grip and dress knot with a gilt metal mounted leather scabbard. Blade 80cm long. CONDITION REPORT: Retailed by Gienes, Mathew and Seagrave Ltd. The sword is in excellent condition, some light tarnish and some very minor pitting to the blade. Tarnish to hilt. Scabbard very good, some light corrosion to the gilt metal mount at the point of the scabbard (blue colour).

He recorded a series of three audio tapes with the Imperial War Museum (reference 12021) where he talks of his time serving with the Federation of Malaya Police 1949-1955.

Gilt brass folding guard with relief of Imperial crowned anchor, knuckle bow with relief leading to lion head with red and green (Port & Starboard) jewelled eyes. Housed in its original leather and gilt brass mounted scabbard. Slightly curved polish blade with finely etched decoration in the form of Kaiser crown above anchor, sailing ships and naval trophies etc. Early Eickhorn makers trademark to the base of the blade. Some light wear but generally a good example. Blade measures 80cms, overall 94 ¼ cms.
Personalised WW2 German Army Officers Dress Dagger, fine example with deep orange celluloid grip. Eagle cross guard with the reverse being finely engraved with initials “M S” in gothic lettering. Gilt metal folding guard with fouled anchor, knuckle bow with fine relief, lion head without jewelled eyes. Rear catch is stamped with Reichsmarine acceptance stamp and numbered “N 1550”. Housed in the original leather and gilt brass mounted scabbard, top fitting is stamped “N 1530”, the number 3 reworked to resemble 5. Plain pipe back slightly curved blade with Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base. Blade 84 ½ cms, overall 100cms.
