The blade is thought to have come from the US and assembled in the UK. During the Second World War Britain was short of commodities and it is thought that the US sent only the blades to the UK to be assembled . Blade has a flaw to one side, and three smaller flaws to the opposing side. The raised medial ridge to each side is rather wavy,. The grip has wear and some corrosion.
