Near mint condition polished straight blade with crowned anchor, royal arms, George VI cipher and foliage etch. Blade measures 79 cms, overall 95cms.

Slightly curved piped back blade etched with Royal Arms, crowned anchor, initials ‘W C J’ and ‘PROSSER maker to the KING & Royal Family LONDON’ Stamped to the blade is a crowned ‘P’. Some staining and grease to the blade. The blade measures 76 ½ cms, overall 101 ½ cms.

White celluloid grip with the original wire binding in place. Luftwaffe eagle cross guard. Bullion officers dagger knot / portopee attached. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is an original pair of velvet backed brocade hanging straps, one fixing clip damaged. Double edged plain blade with the makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 25 ¼ cms, overall 43 cms. Some fraying to the portepee and some light staining to the blade but a scarcer maker to find for this dagger.

^ Spanish Army Generals Presentation Sword, Pre 1936, Attributed to General Luis Aizpuru Mondéjar, fine example with richly gilt and chiselled decorated cross guard with silver and enamelled crowned coat of arms to the centre. Two piece ivory grips with fine rich gilt fittings and original bullion officers sword knot attached. Housed in its plated dress scabbard with single hanging ring. Slightly curved slender blade with fine blue and gilt etched decoration, central inscription ‘EL CIRCULO MERCANTIL DE MELILLA AL EXCMO TENIENTE GENERAL D.LUIS AIZPURU’ (THE MERCANTILE CIRCLE OF MELILLA TO HIMSELF LIEUTENANT GENERAL D.LUIS AIZPURU). Toledo made blade. The blade measures 78cms, overall 94cms. General Aizpuru was born in 1857. In 1874 he entered the Infantry Academy and in 1915 he was named general commander of Melilla, succeeding Francisco Gómez Jordana . He was Chief of the Central General Staff of the Army between January 7, 1922 and July 28, 1923 and Minister of War between May 26 and September 15, 1923 in two García Prieto governments, immediately prior to the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera . He held the position of high commissioner of Spain in Morocco between 1923 and 1924. He was a member of the National Consultative Assembly of the dictatorship between 1927 and 1930. WW2 German Police Bayonet by WKC, Solingen, example with two piece stag horn grips, aluminium police eagle emblem to the centre. Eagle pommel top and cross guard with oakleaves relief. Housed in the original leather scabbard with plated mounts. The cross guard has had the unit marks removed and just a number ‘1’ stamped, the scabbard chape has the unit stamp crossed out and number ‘1’ stamped. The removal of the unit stamp is period and possibly the bayonet was re-issued. Polished blade with fuller to the back edge and makers trademark to the base. The blade with some surface rusting and wear, leather shrunk on scabbard making the bayonet tight in the scabbard. Blade measures 33 cms, overall 48 cms.

Polished blade without motto and the reverse has the Carl Eickhorn makers trademark and RZM emblem with code M7/66. Blade measures 14cms, overall 25 ½ cms.

Housed in the original plated scabbard with two hanging rings. Plain fullered blade with acceptance stampings and remains of makers mark of ‘MOLE BIRMM’. Blade 82cms, overall 101cms. Accompanied by a Royal Regiment of Wales commemorative ice bucket in the form of a regimental drum and three regimental car badges. Items belonged to Lt Colonel F S Field OBE and being sold by direct family descent.

Scarce 1788 Pattern Light Cavalry Officers Sword, slightly curved single edge blade 91cms struck with a government inspector’s crown mark, etched with cavalry officers on rearing horses, martial trophies, Turk’s head and moon, the etched lines gilt, back edge etched J J Runkel Sohlingen, regulation iron stirrup hilt with langets, ribbed leather-covered grip, in its black painted iron mounted scabbard engraved with a saltire beneath the top hanging band. Good condition, one leather panel replaced to scabbard and with crack across scabbard above dented chape, hilt cleaned. Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by Carl Schmidt Sohn AG, Solingen, interesting example of an early pattern SA dress dagger with the grip having nickel eagle and enamel SA devices. Lower cross guard with district / gau stamp ‘Wf’. Housed in early type anodised scabbard with the top mount having enamel emblem for the German state of Lower Saxony. Attached to the scabbard is a two piece leather hanger set. Double edged blade which retains nearly all the original polish and cross graining, standard ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ motto and the reverse with the makers trademark. Sadly the tip of the blade has two areas of sharpening. Blade 21 ½ cms, overall 37cms.
