WW1 1917 Dated Indian Army Gurkha Kukri, with wooden grip, steel pommel cap. Housed in leather covered wooden scabbard with brass bottom chape. Top of scabbard also marked and dated 1917. Leather frog with unit marks, makers stamp and dated 1917 also. Blade also 1917 dated with Indian army proof marks and re-issued in 1940. Blade generally good condition. Blade 33 ½ cm, overall 49cms.
Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger, untouched as found example with brown wooden grip having nickel silver eagle and SA emblem (enamel missing from emblem). Lower cross guard mount stamped with district mark ‘Ns’. Housed in anodised scabbard with single hanging ring. Blade with standard motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’. Makers trade mark has been removed, probably when an Ernst Rohm inscription has been removed. Blade missing its tip. The blade measures 21 ½ cms, overall 37 ½ cms.
Rare Prussian M1790 Bayonet, all brass hilt with brass cross guard. Release spring a later replacement. Housed in leather and brass mounted scabbard. WW2 Japanese Cavalry Sword, chequered wooden grip with steel guard and back strap. Leather hanging portepee. Catch release to the back of the grip, machine made blade with fuller to the back edge, blade numbered 84485. Housed in the original scabbard with single ring fitting. Blade is in generally good condition. Blade measures 83 cms, overall 101cms.
Named British 2nd pattern Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife by Wilkinson Sword, nice example with the ferrule stamped ‘S.MIER’. Double edged stiletto blade with Wilkinson Sword trade mark and FS Fighting Knife to the reverse. Housed in its original scabbard with leg tabs still present. Blade 16 ¾ cm, overall 32 ½ cm.
Scarce British Regimental Pattern 2nd County of London Yeomanry Sword, being the special pattern only carried by the officers and enlisted men of the regiment. Plain steel dish guard, black finished composite handle, steel pommel and chequered back strap. Guard stamped ‘2 CLY 20-‘, last digit not clear, possibly a ‘1’. Housed in steel scabbard with two hanging rings, reverse stamped ‘2 CLY 54’. Plain blade with deep struck fuller to the centre, Hamburger Rogers & Co, London makers details. Blade 87cms, overall 106cms. See page 129 of The British Cavalry Sword from 1600’ by Charles Martyn for more information on this regimental pattern.
Scarce 1821 Pattern Light Cavalry Officers Sword of the Madras Horse Artillery, by Prosser London, fine untouched example with swept bar hilt, fishskin covered grip with wire binding. Curved pipe back blade, etched with East India Company lion above shield with three artillery cannons and oakleaves wreath. Marked PROSSER, reverse side with regimental details ‘MADRAS HORSE ARTILLERY’. Housed in its steel scabbard with two hanging rings. Uncleaned, blade remains good condition with etching remaining clear. Blade 79 ½ cms, overall 93 ½ cms.
Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Model 1936 Officers Chained Dress Dagger, fine example with ebony grip having nickel eagle and enamel SS runes inserted. Lower cross guard stamped ‘Ns’. Housed in its anodised scabbard with Type C hanging chains, with open loops, skull without nasal septum and straight top upper links. Reverse of the chain with SS rune acceptance stamp. Excellent condition blade with much of the original finish remaining. Motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’ and correct no makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Some small chips to the grip on the reverse lower section but generally a very good example of a SS officers dress dagger. See the reference work, ‘The Service Daggers of the SS’ by Siegert for attribution of the chains type, the reference work by Thomas T Wittmann also shows this type of chain but he lists it as a Type 1.
Scarce WW2 British Commando Smatchet Fighting Knife, being a fine example with brass pommel with broad arrow over 13. Wooden grip and steel cross guard. Housed in its original webbing scabbard with the rear being marked ‘M.E.Co 1942’ the trademark of Mills Equipment company. Blade remains in excellent condition, measuring 27 ¾ cms, overall 42 cms.

WW2 German Artillery Regiment Nr22 Tripple Etched Sword by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, being an other ranks dove head pattern with the wire binding still intact. Housed in the original scabbard with single hanging ring. The blade being finely etched with patterned foliage, German army eagles & swastikas and a horse drawn gun team to one side and the other side with regimental details. The blade measures 80 ½ cms, overall 101cms.

The blade measures, including tang, 87 ½ cms. The release catch is removed from the sword but present, has been bent so needs light restoration or replacing.
WW2 American M3 Fighting Knife, early 1943 dated ‘U.C’ (Utica Cutlery Company, NY). Housed in scarce M6 leather scabbard by Moose & Co, 1943 dated also. Blade and scabbard both show heavy use, with the tip missing, possibly for use as a can opener. These knives often associated with the US airborne troops which dropped in Normandy on D-Day. Blade 16cms, overall 38cms.

Swollen blade with makers details and acceptance stamp to the spine; WW1 German deer hoof type fighting knife without scabbard and a small German deer hoof hunting knife. Both bayonets with surface rusting to the exterior and wear to the frogs. (4 items)
Victorian Royal Naval Officers Sword Attributed to Lord Ashley-Cooper, 8th Earl of Shaftesbury, By Henry Wilkinson, 11806, lion head pommel, fishskin covered grip with wire binding, housed in leather with brass mounts scabbard. Near mint condition polished blade with etched decoration, crowned cipher to the bottom section. Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall retailers details to the base of the blade and number to the spine. Blade measures 82 cms, overall 98cms. Nearly all the gilt finish remains to the exterior fittings. Accompanied by a selection of research paperwork, which indicates Lord Ashley served in the Royal Navy, raising to the rank of Lieutenant. Lord Ashley committed suicide in 1886, by shooting himself in the head.
WW2 British 9 Ribbed and Beaded Type Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife, with broad arrow over number 4 to the ferule. Housed in leather scabbard with both leg tabs still present. Much of the original blueing remains to the blade. Generally very good example. Machine ground blade measuring 17 ½ cms, overall 34 ½ cms.
WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger by WKC, fine example of a German naval officers dagger with orange celluloid grip, retaining the wire binding. Gilt eagle pommel and cross guard with fouled anchor to the central cartouche and release button. Officers golden bullion portepee attached. Housed in deluxe pattern hammered scabbard with two hanging rings. Fine double edged blade with etched sailing ship decoration and makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 24 ¼ cms, overall 42cms. Small dent to the lower section of the scabbard and some fraying to the portepee but otherwise a good example.
Third Reich Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, early nickel silver fittings dress dagger with sun dial swastikas to the pommel and centre of the cross guard. Blue leather covered grip with wire binding. Housed in blue leather covered scabbard with nickel plated fittings. Original full length hanging chains attached to the scabbard. Plain double edged blade with makers trade mark to the base. Blade measures 30 ¾ cms, overall 48 cms. Some light scuffing to the exterior leatherwork, remains of the gilt wash from the swastikas. Scabbard throat stamped with number ‘128’.
WW2 German Luftwaffe Officers Sword by WKC, Solingen, fine untouched example of an early nickel silver pattern with gilt mobile pattern swastika to the centres of the top pommel and winged cross guard. Blue leather covered grip with wire binding. Housed in the original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel fittings. Complete with blue leather half moon hanger. Polished straight blade with WKC, Solingen makers trade mark to the base. Blade measures 70 ½ cms, overall 92 ½ cms. Good example with patina to the fittings, some scuffs to the leather and small area of replaced leather to the reverse. Not a common maker to find on Luftwaffe swords.

Black celluloid grip with double width wire binding. Housed in the original scabbard. Slightly curved polished blade with makers trade mark to the base. The blade measures 77 ½ cms, overall 94cms.
WW2 US KA-BAR Fighting Knife, stamped to the blade ‘KA-BAR’. Mint un-issued condition. With the original stapled and stitched leather scabbard. Blade measures 18cms, overall 33cms. Accompanied by Union Cutlery Company Inc information card ‘TAKE CARE OF YOUR KNIFE IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE’.
Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Erased Rohm Inscription Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger, untouched example of a SS enlisted mans dress dagger with ebony grip having nickel eagle and enamel SS runes insignia. Lower mount with ‘I’ stamp, but shows some plating lifting. Housed in its anodised scabbard with single hanging ring. Double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse of the blade shows clear removal of the Rohm inscription which has resulted in the removal of the makers trademark. The blade shows some wear but still generally a good example of a desirable SS mans dagger. Blade 22cms, overall 37cms.
WW1 German Mauser 98/05 Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and cross guard. Housed in its steel scabbard. Swollen blade with fuller to the back edge. Spine stamped with crowned acceptance stamp and base of the blade stamped ‘SIMSON & Co SUHL’. Blade 36 ½ cms, overall 52cms.
WW2 German Army Officers Dress Dagger by A Schuttelhofer & Co, Solingen-Wald, with Post War Dedication to an Officer Killed on Eastern Front, with white celluloid grip, pommel with oakleaves relief, eagle cross guard. Attached to the grip is officers dress portepee. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is a pair of velvet backed brocade hanging straps. Double edged blade with makers trade mark to the base. The blade has an engraved inscription, ‘Oberleutnant Drager-Adjutant der Aufklärungsabteilung 328 – in Ausübung seines Dienstes als Schwadronführer getötet an der Donetz am 23. August 1943‘ (First Lieutenant Drager-Adjutant of the Reconnaissance Division 328 – killed in the line of duty as a squadron leader on the Donetz on August 23, 1943), we are of the opinion that this engraving has been done post war, maybe as a commemorative by his family. The blade measures 25cms, overall 39 ½ cms. One scabbard ring loose.
Rare WW2 Australian Commando Knife, in the FS style with one piece ribbed alloy grip and small oval cross guard. Blade by Whittingslowe, marked with D broad arrow D and WE underneath. Reverse of the ricasso with broad arrow over 1. Housed in the original scabbard stamped D broad arrow D and R. G. Brown 1943. Blade measures 19 ¼ cms, overall 34 ½ cms.

Black celluloid grip with the wire binding. Housed in the original scabbard with single hanging ring. Slightly curved blade with fuller to back edge. The blade with makers trade mark to the base. The blade measures 75 ½ cms, overall 90 ½ cms. We have been unable to find a model number for this pattern of sword, possibly unrecorded, the hilt similar to a design by Emil Voos.
