German Fire Officials Dress Dagger, pre-Third Reich period example having black leather grip retaining its wire binding, steeped steel pommel, cross guard with central crossed axes and fire helmet. Double edged blade with central ridge. The blade is etched with foliage and Fire Brigade motifs to the central panels of both sides. Early Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base of the blade. No scabbard.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by Justinuswerk Solingen, untouched example with wooden grip having aluminium eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Lower cross guard mount stamped “OST” to the reverse. Double edged blade with motto “Alles fur Deutschland”. Makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some staining and signs of sharpening to the edge. Scabbard missing the paint finish and attempted erasure of details to eagle and SA device.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by Wilhelm Kober & Co Suhl, excellent example of a SA dress dagger with the wooden grip having eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Lower cross guard stamped with “Th” to the reverse. Housed in its original scabbard retaining much of its original anodised finish to the obverse, the reverse of the scabbard shows wear from poor storage. Attached to the scabbard ring mount is the original short pattern leather hanging strap. Dagger blade remains in near mint condition with much of the original polish remaining. Blade etched with motto “Alles fur Deutschland”. Makers trade mark logo to the base of the blade.
Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Dress Dagger by J A Henckels, good untouched example of the early pattern Hitler Youth dress dagger with motto “Blut und Ehre!” to the blade. Enamelled Hitler Youth diamond badge set into the chequered grip. Housed in its original black painted scabbard with leather fixing strap and press button top. Makers trade mark to the centre of the reverse of the blade. Motto remains clear. Good untouched example.
Third Reich RLB (Reichsluftshutzbund) Enlisted Mans 1st Model Dress Dagger, black ebony grip with enamelled RLB and swastika within starburst badge to the centre, original top pommel and stylised eagle and swastika cross guard. Housed in the original scabbard with single mounting fitting. Double edged E & F Horseter, Solingen marked blade. The top pommel is suffering from metal fatigue and some chips out of the handle.
Third Reich RLB (Reichsluftshutzbund) Enlisted Mans 2nd Model Dress Dagger, black ebony grip with enamelled swastika within starburst badge to the centre, original top pommel and stylised eagle and swastika cross guard. Housed in the original scabbard with single mounting and leather strap. Double edged blade having E&F Horster, Solingen makers trade mark to the base. Damage to the handle, enamel swastika and metal fatigue in the top pommel, the pommel is also loose.
WW2 German Army Officers Lion Head Dress Sword by W.K.C, good untouched example with gilt langet having eagle and swastika, gilt brass knuckle guard with fine relief of oakleaves, lion head with jewelled eyes and relief to the back strap. Black celluloid grip retaining the original wire binding. Plain single edged slightly curved blade with fuller to the back edge. Stamped with WKC knights head trade mark under the langet. Housed in the original black painted scabbard. Good example overall.

Dove head pattern example. Grip retains the original wire binding. Attached is officers leather and bullion wire knot / portopee. Housed in its black field service scabbard with single ring fitting. Plain slightly curved single edged blade with fuller to back edge. Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base. Blade measures 78 ½ cms in length. Re-offered due to non-paying bidder.

Leather and white metal scabbard with the top fitting having Polish Pilots badge. Double edged blade stamped at the top “32378”. Good overall condition.

Blade 76cms. Good condition, grip re-covered, scabbard repaired.

Crosspiece with applied oval gold panels, engraved borders, whorled finials, 2 piece horn grips with silver mounts; in its silver mounted scabbard, twin hanging bands with suspension rings, mounts engraved overall with flowers, foliage and geometric designs, large bottom mount also with niello decoration. Good condition (requires cleaning overall).

19th Century Indian Sword Tulwar from Rajasthan, broad curved single edge wootz blade cut with a narrow central fuller, and with some silver koftgari decoration at the forte (worn), iron hilt of conventional form with slender langets, grip forming 2 points, disc pommel set with radial plate, and covered with gold koftgari flowering foliage overall, in its black leather covered scabbard. Blade 82cms. Good condition.

19th Century Indian Sword Tulwar from Rajasthan, curved single edge wootz blade cut with twin narrow fullers each deeply struck with repeated flower-head devices, iron hilt of conventional form, with slender langets, grip forming 2 points, disc pommel set with radial plate, and covered with gold koftgari flowering foliage overall, in its dark velvet covered scabbard. Blade 77cms. Good condition, koftgari inscription removed from under the disc pommel, velvet pile mostly worn away.

Good 19th Century Tibetan Sword, broad heavy single edge blade forged with longitudinal stripes, nickel hilt with woven wire-bound grip and woven fabric ferules, pommel deeply engraved with lotus devices and wavy borders. In its nickel mounted scabbard with large chape, velvet covered with leather suspension strap. Blade 64cms. Good untouched condition and patina.
Very Unusual 19th Century Burmese Sword Dha, curved single edge blade with chisel tip, the hilt and scabbard made from brass with traces of gilding and with 14 separate raised encircling collars each formed with pointed borders and inlaid with facetted and foiled red glass/stones (?) of rectangular and tear-drop shapes, swollen pommel with finial en-suite. Overall 98cms, blade 57cms. Good untouched condition, requires cleaning, some stones missing, bottom section of scabbard bound with copper wire.

19th Century Borneo Head Hunters Sword Mandau, slightly curved single edge blade swollen towards the tip and profusely inlaid with lines of brass dots between engraved borders, bone hilt carved with human heads and stylised snarling animal heads, with teeth and dentil borders (some chips), in its wooden scabbard carved with a dragon, and with woven rattan bindings and shoulder belt. Blade 56cms. Good condition untouched and age patina.
Good 17th English Silver Mounted Hunting Hanger c.1670, curved single edge blade with false edge deeply stuck on each side with a crowned King’s Head maker’s mark, silver mounts stamped with maker’s mark G.S within shield, pommel with large cherub head in relief and engraved with owl faces and a demonic head within foliage, ferule engraved with cherub heads, fluted knuckle bow, quillon with lion head finial, one piece stag horn grip, in its tooled leather scabbard with silver mounts stamped G.S, locket engraved with winged cherub and heads, belt hook with Roman emperor’s head in relief, foliate engraved chape. Blade 50cms. Good untouched condition, requires cleaning overall.
Good Quality Mid-18th Century Continental Hunting Hanger, slightly curved single edge blade nicely gilt etched with trophies of arms, hunting dogs, boar, stag and cartouches containing strap work, brass hilt chiselled overall with hunting trophies including Diana on the shell guard, tapered octagonal grip covered with tortoise shell, in its brass mounted leather scabbard. Blade 54cms. Good untouched condition.
Rare Silver Hilted 1796 Pattern Cavalry Officers Sword, blade struck with crowned broad arrow ordnance inspector’s mark, back edge stamped WOOLLEY with I (India?), regulation silver stirrup hilt (no visible hallmark) silver gripstrap and ferule, silver wire bound grip, in its iron scabbard with twin hanging rings. Blade 83cms. Good condition, requires cleaning, age wear overall, tip of grip chipped.

THOMPSON for Meritorious Constabulary Services 1843’ all within ribbons against profuse scrolling foliage and shamrocks overall, mounts chiselled overall with shamrocks and foliage in relief and repeatedly hall marked for London, 1842-3, maker T.B within a rectangle (for Thomas Barker), comprising H.M. crosspiece, foliate engraved grip strap, chiselled silver thimbles to pommel, 2 piece ivory grips with silver bullion dress knot, in its fish skin covered scabbard with H.M. locket, 2 H.M. hanging bands and 2 H.M. suspension rings. Blade 80cms. Good untouched condition, the attic find sword requires cleaning; chape, lower fish skin and grip rivets missing.
Rare and Fine Quality Victorian Court Sword for a Lieutenant of an Irish County, blade mirror polished and frost etched ‘Buckmaster 3 New Burlington St, London’ with crowned VR, extensive foliage and shamrocks, and crossed flags (union jack and shamrock flag). Regulation gilt brass hilt with applied crown and shamrocks to guard, crown-shaped pommel, wire bound grip, in its black leather scabbard with ormolu chape and locket, the latter with frog button in the shape of a shamrock. Blade 77.5cms. Fine condition, retaining all its original bright gilding overall, some rust staining to blade.
