A 19TH CENTURY INDIAN JAMBIYA, 16.5cm sharply curved blade with raised medial ridge, characteristic brass hilt profusely decorated with panels of scrolling foliage and flowerheads and with traces of silvered decoration, contained in its brass mounted green velvet wrapped wooden scabbard, the mounts decorated to match and with traces of silvered decoration, highlighted with four small turquoise stones.
A WHITE METAL MOUNTED INDIAN STYLED PRESENTATION SWORD BY WILKINSON, 78.5cm blade etched with fine panels of scrolling foliage, crowned VR cyphers and maker's panel, serial no. 9249 1858, characteristic white metal hilt finely chiselled with scrolling foliage and flowerheads, repair to pommel, contained in its white metal mounted blue leather wrapped wooden scabbard. This sword is of a similar quality and style to others sold in these rooms connected to the Delhi Durbar and may relate to the Government of India act of 1858.

Wakizashi (脇 å·®) is a short traditional Japanese sword. Mostly used by samurai and worn on the belt. It was worn in tandem with a katana.
