Complete with Mosin Nagant bayonet attached to the scabbard. Slightly curved steel blade. The blade measures 80 ½ cms, overall 97cms. No markings or stampings to the sword. Some damage to the scabbard.

WW2 British 2nd Pattern ‘B2’ Fairbairn Sykes (F.S) Commando Knife, superb example which retains nearly all the blackened finish to the exterior fittings. Grip with knurling. Oval cross guard stamped with broad arrow and ‘B2’. Housed in its original leather scabbard with blued brass lower chape, leather leg tabs and belt loop with elasticated strap. Double edged blade with nearly all of the original blueing remaining. The blade measures 17 ¼ cms, overall 31 ½ cms.

Complete with the original leather scabbard with blackened brass lower chape, leg tabs and belt loop with elasticated securing strap. Dutch Military Sidearm Kleewang, curved swollen blade cut with a single fuller, 2-piece riveted black grips, iron crosspiece, in its brass mounted leather scabbard with belt frog attached. Blade sharpened to edge. The blade measures 45cms, overall 60cms. These sidearms were popular weapons of choice by the allied forces fighting in the jungles of Burma against the Imperial Japanese forces, they were often sharpened to help cut through the jungle terrain.

WW2 Japanese Type 30 Arisaka Bayonet, good example with two piece wooden grips. Steel pommel top and cross guard with muzzle ring and downturned quillon. Housed in its original steel scabbard. Blade with deeply struck fuller to the back edge. Blade with arsenal marks for Matsushita Kinzoku KK Arsenal commonly known as ‘National Denki’. Unusually the blade is cut with two saw teeth to the edge which is very well done so possibly official. The blade measures 39 ½ cms, overall 53cms.

Scarce Transitional Pattern SS (Schutzstaffel) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen, fine example with black ebony grip retaining the original eagle and enamel SS runes device. Plated mounts with some lifting. Housed in its original scabbard with plated mounts which show some spotting. Good condition double edged blade with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue” in gothic lettering. Reverse side of the blade has the Eickhorn Solingen logo and also the RZM mark with 941/38 and SS runes. Some expected wear but generally a good example. SS mans daggers with the transitional blades having makers mark and RZM mark are very hard to find compared to that of the SA dagger.

Third Reich Sturmabteilung (S.A) Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, good untouched example with wooden grip having early copper based nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Nickel silver mounts with patina. Reverse of the cross guard stamped ‘Ns’. Housed in early pattern anodised scabbard with nickel silver mounts, these again with nice patina. Mounted to the hanging ring is a brown leather two piece hanging strap. Double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’. Reverse of the blade with makers trade mark. Some spotting to the blade and patina to the exterior fittings. Blade 22 ¼ cms, overall 38cms.

WW2 German 2nd Pattern Luftwaffe Officers Dress Dagger by WKC, Solingen, good example with deep orange celluloid grip retaining the original wire binding. Pommel with swastika to both sides. Cross guard in the form of eagle in flight. Attached to the grip is the original bullion dagger portepee. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Plain double edged blade with makers trade mark to the base. The blade measures 25cms, overall 43cms.

WW2 Grouping of Stanley Warwick Ripley 16th (Gravesend) Battalion Kent Home Guard, consisting of a 1940 pattern battle dress blouse with its original size label to the interior. The interior has ink WD stamp with date letter ‘O’ for 1942. Insignia has been removed from the BD and has some moth damage. The removed insignia is present in the group along with some mint un-issued printed insignia. Accompanied by a folder of paperwork, photographs and newspaper cuttings relating to the service of Stanley Ripley, including his Defence medal and box addressed to him in 9 Bernard Street, Gravesend, Kent. Also with the grouping is his forage cap, gas mask in bag, webbing pack, waist belt, P-17 bayonet in scabbard and some other items.

WWII period German Third Reich period Naval Officer's sword, having 84cm slightly curved fullered single edged blade marked 'Eickhorn, Solingen', with gilded metal mount having lion's head with stone set eyes, acorn leaves and wire bound black grip. Together with silver braid pendant acorn and original black enamelled steel scabbard with single suspension ring and webbing strap. 102cm long approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) The blade generally is in good condition, some minor tarnishing, but no serious losses. The mound is heavily worn with much loss to original gilding. The scabbard is heavily rusted and shows little of its original finish.    No obvious dents, blade and scabbard appear straight.  Scabbard is 89cm long approx.  Pommel firm.
