A SPECIAL PATTERN INDIAN CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD BY WILKINSON, 88cm sharply curved double fullered blade, serial no. 10222 for 1860, etched with a maker's panel at the forte and the presentation inscription THIS SWORD WAS PRESENTED TO CORNET J.H. WHITEWAY OF THE 1ST DEVON LIGHT HORSE VOLUNTEERS IN 1864 BY HIS BROTHER OFFICERS IN TOKEN OF THEIR REGARD FOR HIS DISINTERESTED AND GENEROUS ASSISTANCE IN RAISING AND SUPPORTING THEIR CORPS, characteristic brass hilt with D-shaped knuckle guard decorated with strapwork, characteristic chequered ergonomic wooden grip, contained in its brass mounted leather wrapped wooden scabbard decorated to match, the scrollwork highlighted with plate. A good example of this scarce Indian Army sword, unusually gifted as a presentation sword.

Blade with tip chipped.

AN EAST INDIA COMPANY WINDUS PATTERN SOCKET BAYONET, the blade partially stamped DAWES, the socket with the EIC heart-shaped motif, contained in its leather wrapped wooden scabbard, tip rounded and tip lacking from scabbard, together with a Brown Bess socket bayonet and a Pattern 1876 socket bayonet, all with scabbards. A US 1861 PATTERN DAHLGREN BAYONET, 30.5cm clipped back blade stamped 1861 to one side and AMES MFG CO CHICOPEE MASS to the other side, brass hilt with pinned wooden grip, contained in its brass mounted leather scabbard. There are no Inspector's or Naval stamps and no serial no. under the spring clip so most probably a reproduction.
A SCARCE BAYONET BOWIE KNIFE, 25.5cm clipped back blade etched with scrolling foliage to the left side, the ergonomic shaped hilt with two-piece chequered horn grips, the crossguard with muzzle ring, the pommel with notch slot with chequered sprung release button, contained in its white metal mounted leather scabbard. One assumes given the small diameter of the muzzle ring that this was for some form of revolver or small calibre rifle.
A THIRD REICH SA DAGGER WITH LEATHER BELT LOOP, 22cm flattened diamond section blade with RZM M7/37 mark and etched with the motto Alles fur Deutschland, regulation hilt with plated mounts and wooden grip, contained in its brown painted scabbard with plated mounts and RZM stamped leather belt frog.
