A 1796 VARIANT SWORD. A Sword and partial scabbard based on the 1796 Light Cavalry pattern. Three bar hilt with carved wooden grip, 30.1/4" single-edged curved blade, with three-quarter fulers. Partial wooden scabbard with traces of leather covering, with steel mounts. Rust to both blade and mounts evident, no visible markings evident.
A MARTINI-HENRI CARBINE & A BAYONET. A Matini-Henri carbine with Crown over a faint VR then Enfield, 1885 and 11. The barrel length of some 20.3/4", with steel ramrod below. The bayonet fitted complete with a leather and steel mounted scabbard, is an 1856 pattern sword bayonet. The length with the bayonet fitted is 60.1/4".
