British 1827 Pattern Royal Naval Warrant Officer's Sword, Blade 31.5" etched with royal arms and crowned fouled anchor. Regulation hilt with traces of gilding, hinged guard engraved with owner's name ‘R J Smart R.N., regulation brass mounted leather covered scabbard, bullion dress knot. Good condition, small stains to blade, grip worn and re-bound.
British Edward VII 1845 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword, etched blade 32.5", regulation brass hilt, in its leather covered field service scabbard with inked inscription ‘R W D Leslie RAMC'. Good condition, blade worn, extreme tip of scabbard missing. ** Robert Walter Dickson Leslie started his military career as a Lieutenant in the RAMC in 1906. He served in Crete and Malta before the outbreak of WW1. He ended the First World War with the rank of Major. He retired from the army in 1941 with the rank of Major General.
British Edward VII Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Officer's Field Service Sword, double edge fullered blade 32.5" by McClymont, Glasgow, etched with royal cipher, ‘L' interlaced and entwined, and foliage. Associated crosspiece (Royal Scots pattern), fish skin grip, steel pommel. Good condition, tip of blade bent, scabbard missing.
British Edward VIII 1854 Pattern Honourable Artillery Company Officer's Sword by Wilkinson, No. 65555 for 1936. Blade 32.5" etched with regimental devices, scrolls and owner's initials W.E.C. and retaining virtually all original polish. Regulation plated hilt, in its leather covered dress scabbard. Very good condition. With copy of the Wilkinson ledge entry: “Jul-9-1936-65555-H.A.C.Inf.-W.E.Cole".
Victorian 1895 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword, Blade 32.5" by Wilkinson No.35709 etched with royal cipher, arms, scrolls and maker's device. Regulation hilt, in its leather covered field service scabbard. Good condition, some age wear overall, plating to guard well worn. With copy of Wilkinson ledger entry: “April 5-1898-35709-Infy; Name. Potts. W. Regiment 2 V/B. Oxford. L. I."
Elizabeth II 1897 Pattern Royal Engineers Officer's Sword, Blade 32.5" by Wilkinson No.74021 for 1954, etched with royal arms, regimental device, maker's device and scrolls, and retaining all its original polish. Regulation plated hilt and dress scabbard. Fine condition, a little rust showing beneath plating.
Scarce Victorian 1822 Indian General and Staff Officer's Pattern Levee Sword, slender blade 32.5" by Watson and Co. Bombay, etched and polished with royal cipher, crossed sword and scabbard, and foliate scrolls. Regulation hilt, in its brass dress scabbard. Good condition, guard slightly misshapen, minor dents to scabbard, some pitting at end of blade.
Interesting Edward VII Artillery Officer's Sword with 1821 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Officer's Undress Hilt. Blade 33" etched with crowned EVIIR cipher, royal arms, cannon, thunder flash device and ‘Artillery' with scrolls. Regulation hilt, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its steel scabbard. Good clean condition.
George VI 1892 Pattern Household Cavalry Troopers Sword housed in its original parade steel scabbard. Original grip with wire binding. Pierced decorated hilt with parade white buff inner lining and knot. Plain polished blade with issue stampings to the base. One scabbard ring missing but otherwise good condition example.
Georgian Royal Navy Warrant Officers Sword Circa 1825 complete with the remains of the original leather and gilt mount scabbard. The gilt mounts to the hilt retain much of the original gilt wash finish. Engraved anchors to the langets. Grip of black fish skin with the original wire. Top scabbard mount is engraved with Firmin & Sons Sword Cutlers 153 Strand London. Blade has standard etched decoration which is still visible. Some surface staining to the blade. Scabbard is original to the sword but is in poor condition with the lower section missing and the top section very weak.

Hill Bros London retailers mark to the base of the blade. Blade has been well polished. Generally good overall condition.

Hilt has regimental badge of the Scots Guards. Blade is etched with foliage, battle honours, monogram and regimental badge. Blade remains in good condition overall. A&TA Thompson London makers mark to base of the blade and spine is numbered 101688. Scabbard is complete with its leather frog, some dry spots and flaking to the leather scabbard covering.
Victorian Staffordshire Constabulary Side Arm being brass mounted with regulation fish skin covered grip. Back of the guard is marked S C C 357 and has push button release. Curved blade etched with Victorian Crown and Staffordshire Knot, also engraved with STAFFORDSHIRE No114 CONSTABULARY. Some wear to the blade and scabbard is absent.
British 1821 Pattern Light Cavalry Officers Sword complete with its original steel scabbard. Three bar hilt with original fish skin covered grip. Bullion sword knot attached to the hilt. Blade is etched to the centre panel with foliage and Queen Victoria cipher. Base of blade has Hawkes & Co Piccadilly London makers mark and the spine is numbered 3612. Blade remains in good overall condition.
Victorian Oxfordshire Constabulary Side Arm being brass mounted with regulation fish skin covered grip. Complete with press button release on the back of the guard. Black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Blade is marked with makers details Parker Field & Son London. Opposite side of the blade is marked O. C No 25. Some surface staining to the blade.
British George IV 1822 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword with gilt swept three bar hilt having cipher to the middle. Fish skin covered grip complete with wire. Complete with its original leather and brass mounted scabbard. Bottom section of the scabbard is loose. Slight curved pipe back blade with etched strung bugle and LII. Blade also etched with royal monogram for George IV. Some surface wear and staining to the blade.

Fish skin covered grip complete with wire. Hilt has George V monogram. Blade retains much of the original polish. Sanderson Bros & Newbould Ld Sheffield makers mark to the base. Etched panel with cipher and foliage. Complete with its leather hanging frog. Hilt has engraved section with owners details and date Oct 31st 1914. ** A Captain Percy Gordon Graham of the 16th (Newcastle) Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers was killed in action on the 1st day of the Battle of the Somme. At the time of going to print we have not been able to confirm if this is the original owner of this sword.
