The hilt is decorated with gold koftgari and fitted with a pair of bone grip-scales. The wooden scabbard is covered with velvet. Silver mouth and end of the scabbard, decorated with high-quality engraving. A beautiful Islamic dagger, in excellent condition. Length 42 cm.

We cannot post this item but we can recommend a shipperThe weapon presents in condition commensurate with age and light to medium usage. The blade itself is bright and free from any significant corrosion however it does have some patination of age in places. There is no obvious sign of damage or previous repair. The guard has a very nice patination to the bronze, a very deep brown, again free from any sign of obvious damage or previous repair, likewise the shagreen grip is in good condition, all the wire binding is intact and is not loose or damaged and has no sign s of previous repair. The scabbard does have a fair amount of external corrosion which should clean off but it merely patination of age. There is no damage, dents or sign of previous repair. Prospective bidders  are advised to study the images carefully prior to bidding
