Coldstream Guards GvR Officer's LevŽe pattern sword. A good example by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London. The 83 cm (approx) blade, numbered 58214 indicating 1911, bears battle honours including those of the Boer War. The hilt is of regimental pattern, the open guard incorporates the Order of the Garter Star, shagreen grip with twist wire binding (small section of wire absent). Housed in with polished brown leather scabbard, midsection crudely repaired with Sellotape.
German Third Reich Police Bayonet by Alexander Coppell, Solingen. A good 33 cm blade example with eagle's head pommel, with eye locking nut. Two piece simulated stags horn grip bearing silvered police device. The upswept crossguard bears oak leaf decoration. The plated blade bears maker's details on one side, maker's scales logo on the other. 'S.Ar.II.444' stamp to back of the crossguard. Housed in brown leather scabbard with plated mounts. No movement to blade. Minor service wear, overall VGC.
Imperial German OR's sabre . A good example by Carl Eickhorn with 85 cm (approx) curved blade etched on both sides 'In True Fest' and bearing back to back cutler's logo. Black painted D shaped guard and backstrap, composition grip. Housed in its black painted scabbed with single loose suspension ring. Dent to scabbard near chape.
