1821 Pattern light cavalry officer's sword by Henry Wilkinson of Pall Mall, three bar hit with wire bound shagreen handle, in its steel scabbard. The blade profusely engraved for the 4th Queen's Own Light Dragoons, a stag above the regimental title, with foliate and scroll work and a radiant crown. Initials "JCW" in a cartouche within a six pointed star at the base. The blade, 90 cm in length, double edged at its tip. The scabbard stamped H10. Overall length in scabbard 106cm.

Horster, Solingen, plated blade etched with anchors and makers oval logo on the forte, ivorine grip, gilt metal eagle and swastika pommel above ornate cross guard complete with locking-catch and release button, housed in gilt metal scabbard with engraved lightning bolts and suspension-rings in oakleaf lockets, note, large damage to cross guard, missing wirebound grip and with osses of gilt, see images, L 42 cm Provenance; By family tradition, acquired in Germany during 1945 by Act. Major RM Norman Edward Ricketts who was serving as a ‘Staff Officer Naval Demolitions on the staff of V.A.C.B.N. Germany’ during the lead up to and in the aftermath of the German surrender. These ads appear early in the war, in 1862.'', etched with regimental badge and scrolls, regulation pierced iron guard, wire bound fish skin covered grip, with scabbard, blade length 82 cm, total length 99 cm.
