Imperial German Bavarian Model 1889 Presentation Sword, being a model 1889 with the folding guard officially removed, ornate knuckle guard and top pommel engraved with initials. The reverse of the guard is engraved “Priester s/l Midlmann 1 Juli 1894”. Fish skin grip retaining the original wire binding and brass coat of arms of the state of Bavaria. Bullion Bavarian pattern sword knot / portopee attached to the guard. Single edged blade with etched panel to the centre having the Bavarian motto “In Treue Fest”. WKC helmeted knight motto to the base of the blade and the spine is etched “LORENZ STANKO, MUNCHEN”. Housed in the original steel parade scabbard with leather and brocade parade hanging straps. Some surface staining to the blade but generally a very good example.

Plain double edged blade with makers details to the base. Much of the finish is missing from the exterior. Not an easy maker to find on German Army officers daggers.

Third Reich K98 Bayonet with Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Parade Frog, the bayonet is complete with two piece grips. Waffen-ampt stamped to the reverse. Housed in black painted scabbard. Blade retains much of the original blued finish and stamped “J.Sch”. White painted leather bayonet frog as worn by members of Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler (LAH) on parade. Section of the frog is missing.

Imperial German Model 1889 Infantry Officers Sword with Damascus Blade, fine untouched example of a Model 1889 Prussian Infantry officers sword with superior quality folding guard, knuckle guard and pommel. The folding guard being the more uncommonly seen squared type. Fish skin grip retaining the original wire and gilt monogram. Pipe backed Damascus blade with etched trophies of arms, foliage and panels to each side with “Viel Feind – Viel Ehr” (Many Foes Much Honour). Blade with dark staining and some pitting to the lower section. Early Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base. Complete with its original black painted field service scabbard.

Third Reich RLB (Reichsluftshutzbund) Enlisted Mans 2nd Model Dress Dagger, black ebony grip with enamelled swastika within starburst badge to the centre, original top pommel and stylised eagle and swastika cross guard. Housed in the original scabbard with single mounting and leather strap. Double edged un-maker marked blade, retaining much of the original cross graining. The cross guard is suffering from severe metal fatigue and is cracked in a number of places.

Some light wear to the blue leather and the metal exterior fittings have been polished.

Cross guard with anchor to centre and press stud release catch to the other side. Original officers dress portopee attached. Dagger is housed in its deluxe pattern hammered scabbard with roped ring attachments for the fitting of dress straps. Double edged blade with etched foliage and anchor decoration to both sides. Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Tip of the blade has been rounded. Good untouched example.

Large heavy quality brass cross guard langet with spread eagle and swastika, knuckle guard with oakleaf relief leading into lion head with ruby eyes, back strap with oakleaf relief. Original leather and bullion officers sword knot attached to the guard. Curved blade is etched with foliage and blued panels, one side with regimental details for “Schles Train Battalion No6” and the other side image of Kaiser Wilhelm II and “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit”. Housed in the original plated dress scabbard. Very good example of a cross over pattern sword.

Original officers dress portopee attached. Housed in the original scabbard. Officers velvet backed dress hangers are attached to the scabbard. Plain double edged blade with knights helmet trade mark for WKC Solingen. Exterior fittings are polished but overall a very nice example.
Large Bowie Type Knife, being a 20th / 21st century example with two piece wood grips having central brass stud fitting. Bowie style blade measuring 28cms in length. To one side of the blade is etched “PRESENTED TO ALFRED HENRY HOOK VC AT THE BRITISH MUSEUM BY LORD CHELMSFORD 1888” reverse side engraved “RORKES DRIFT ZULULAND 1879”. Housed in a brass riveted leather scabbard. Alfred “Henry” Hook was awarded the Victoria Cross for his part in the defence of the Mission Station at Rorkes Drift during the Anglo Zulu War in 1879.

WKC makers trade mark to the base of the reverse of the blade. Housed in the original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver mounts. Blue leather special pattern sword hanger attached. Very good untouched example with much patina to the nickel silver fittings.

Brass knuckle guard and pommel, the pommel is engraved to the top with coat of arms of the family. Grip retains the original wire binding and brass monogram. Single edged blade with double fullers. Early WKC makers trade mark to the base. Some evidence of sharpening to the edge of the blade. Housed in the original scabbard.
Third Reich NSKK Erased Rohm Inscription Dress Dagger, complete with the original grip, having eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Lower cross guard stamped “Nm”. Cross guard also stamped with the number “30341”, this is repeated on the top scabbard mount. Traces of the original black finish can be seen on sections of the scabbard. Scabbard ring fitted with short leather hanging strap. Double edged blade with “Alles fur Deutschland” motto. Blade has makers trade mark for Pack & Sohn (E.P&S). Blade shows evidence of the removal of a Rohm Inscription.
Fine Imperial German Prussian Model 1889 Officers Sword Given by Leutnant Kemmer to Leutnant Vondran on Graduation from Military College in 1910, Leutnant Vondran was Killed in Action in August 1914, standard Prussian Infantry officers sword with folding front and rear guards, brass knuckle guard and pommel. Original grip retaining the wire binding and brass monogram. Original leather and bullion officers sword knot / portopee attached. The blade has two presentation panels to each side, both originally would have been blue and gilt, gilt remains only, “Kemmer s/l Vondran” and “Danzig 1909/10”. Blade has double fuller and is single edged. Housed in its original scabbard. Some light surface staining / spotting to the blade but generally a very good example. It was common practice for German officers to present fellow officers with a sword on graduation from Military College. The vendor has carried out research on the two officers relating to this sword. Both officers were commissioned as Leutnant’s in 1910. Kemmer served with Infantry Regiment 88 and later transferred to Infantry Regiment 97, by 1914 he had left the army. Vondran first served with Infantry Regiment 99, at the outbreak of the First World War he was temporarily detached from Infantry Regiment 99 and was serving with Field Artillery Regiment 84, the records state that he was killed in action on the 25th August 1914 and that he was born in New York, USA.
2nd Model Luftwaffe Officers Dress Dagger by Tiger Solingen, the dagger has the original orange celluloid grip, retaining the original grip wire. Top pommel has remains of the gilt wash finish to the swastika. Officers portopee attached to the grip. Cross guard in the form of an eagle in flight clutching swastika. Housed in the original scabbard with set of original dress hangers attached. Double edged blade which remains in very good overall condition. Tiger Solingen trade mark to the base of the blade. Very good example overall.

Single edged blade with etched foliage, trophy of arms and crowned Imperial eagle. Early WKC makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Housed in the original leather scabbard with brass mounts. Leather scabbard slightly shrunk and some light wear to the blade but generally a very good example.

Dagger is housed in its original scabbard with set of good quality dress hangers attached. Plain doubled edged blade with makers trade mark to the base. Remains in generally very good overall condition.

Single edged double fullered blade with etched panels to both sides having Bavarian motto “In Treue Fest”. Pack & Sohn makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Housed in the original scabbard. Some surface wear to the blade especially towards the tip.

Grip retains the original wire binding. Attached to the guard is the original leather and embroidered cloth portopee. Fine curved single edged blade with etched decoration of trophy of arms, foliage and central blued panel with regimental details of “II Hannov Feld Artill Regt No 26”, other side of the blade is etched with similar design, the blued panel this time shows a horse drawn artillery gun team. Sword is complete with the original scabbard with fixed single ring fitting. Very good example overall.

Attached to the guard is the original leather and bullion dress knot / portopee. Remains in good overall condition.
WW2 1st Pattern Fairbairn Sykes (F.S) Commando Knife, being a nickel silver example with 1st type S shaped guard. Cross hatched grip with brass nut fitting to the top. Doubled edged stiletto blade with remains of Wilkinson Sword etched makers mark and The FS Fighting Knife etched to the other. Blade has been well used and has evidence of sharpening and tipped. Housed in the original leather scabbard with nickel silver bottom chape. Scabbard is missing its top section. Good used example.

The blade appears to have been plated also which has obscured some of the etching. Housed in its original leather scabbard with plated mounts.
