Sword: Customs / Police Cutlass top of blade marked 'Reeves, Greaves & Co Manufactures'. Curved blade with hatchet point 24". Brass stirrup hilt with fishskin grip. Circa 1855. Press stud retaining catch for scabbard. In its brass mounted leather scabbard with leather frog. In very good condition with service wear.

Top of blade stamped 'W' over '16' (g.cond) (Wilhelm II 1916). Ribbed wooden grip with wire binding (minor damage to wire & grip on one side). Steel stirrup hilt. In its steel scabbard (Pitted overall). An honest untouched WW1 Souvenir.

In its steel scabbard with single suspension ring. A pleasing polished finish and in very good condition overall.

HMS Iris to his Brother R.E.T., Auckland 1858, leather scabbard, 24cm long overall Launched in 1840, H.M.S Iris was a 26-gun sixth rate frigate initially engaged with the West Africa Squadron in supressing the slave trade, before moving to the East Indies Station and operating in Borneo. As the first flagship of the Australia Station between 1859 and 1861, she participated in the First Taranaki War.
