Basically GC for age.

Light-wooden grip of typical shape, richly embossed, the base with iron wire binding, the pommel with black horsehair; fine, wooden scabbard, partially embossed and engraved, held by colored, rattan bands. length 65 cm.

Wooden scabbard with rattan bands, with rare ball ornament on the front side of the cap, in braided rattan, externally covered with shells of a particular walnut type and sea-shells. Very scarce. length 65 cm.

dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Sumatra, Blade with a quite rare pamor drawing, in miring technique, a similar drawing at the base with a curl, called pamor on the buntet, a pamor bulu ayam or hen feathers in the lower part, while in the upper one there are diagonal pamor lines buntil mayit. Horn hilt with a stylized hornbill head and finely chiselled and pierced with geometrical motifs, rattan-covered grip. Hard-wood scabbard covered with rattan strips. length 60 cm.
