dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Blade of triangular section with hollow faces, the first part engraved and gilded on a blue background with trophies and floral motifs. Beautiful gilt brass hilt with pierced shell-guard, and decorated with classical floral motifs in low and high relief. Handle with six mother-of-pearl plates (one with crack) divided by staves. Leather scabbard (repair) with gilt brass mounts decorated with spider webs and floral motifs. length 94 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Italy, Double-edged blade of hexagonal section, engraved along almost the entire length with trophies and floral motifs, the base still with remains of gilding, areas with surface rust damage and patina. Gilt brass hilt with asymmetrical valve bearing a trophy, pommel with dog's head drinking from a shell. Mother-of-pearl grips. Without scabbard. length 96 cm.

dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Papal States, Round, rifled, 12, 7 mm cal barrel at the nozzle (clean bore, visible groove), with foresight, clutch for the bayonet, foldaway and adjustable rear sight, with markings 'EM & L NAGANT' at the base, pontifical mark, various other marks and marks of the Liège test bench. Frame with rolling block bolt with Nagant markings, marks and serial numbers coeval with the barrel. Working mechanics. Wooden butt and fore-end, clearly visible on the right side of the butt side the stamp 'CATHOLIQUES BELGES' with date '1868'. Iron mounts and ramrod. Some pitting on the outside. Bayonet (length 70 cm.) marked with 'S' crowned like the clutch and 'A' inside a circle, different serial number from the rifle and complete with scabbard. Attached are historical notes collected by the owner and information on the marks stamped on the rifle. length 131,5 cm.

Silver hilt, vermeil quillon, sculpted with two lion's claws, the quillon block engraved and decorated with a green cabochon stone. curved hilt with brown, horn grips and oval pommel covered with an oval, yellow-gold plaque featuring a coat of arms of a prince with crown and an order's neckpiece. Wooden scabbard with leather covering (small defects at the border) and decorated with three, engraved, gilt-silver plates, he ones of the two suspension rings with high-relief lion's head, decorated with filigree mounts, leaved and cabochon stones, the back part with lion's head on a base engraved with floral motifs. A Third Reich era german Naval officer's dress dagger, the double-edged etched blade by Eickhorn Solingen with celluloid ribbed grip (slight break near pommel) eagle form pommel bent out of shape, with portepee knot and scabbard. This dagger was acquired by the vendor's father-in-law following the D-Day landings
A 1796 pattern heavy cavalry trooper's sword, the straight flat-back single-edged blade with broad fuller to each side, joining a hatchet point steel hilt with pierced disc and reinforced inside. The black leather ribbed grip with two langets, joining a stirrup form knuckle bow (join to disc guard repaired). The blade back stamped with indistinct lettering for Bodell & Bate (sword cutler of 71 Burlington Arcade, London). 97.5cm total length. With a scabbard stamped Osborn & Gumby, Birmingham
