A 19th century Buckinghamshire Light Infantry 1892 Officers dress sword and scabbard. Condition Report: Buckinghamshire regimental badge to handle (see image). Makes name marked as Rob Mole & Sons, Makers (indistinct). Several dents to both side of the scabbard, slightly out of shape. Blade has slight bend, grip decoration largely intact, pommel secure. some signs of rust and wear to both sword and scabbard (see images). Scabbard = 87.5cm. Sword = 97cm. Blade only = 83cm.

A French 11mm Model 1866 Chassepot bolt action SS needle fire rifle, no number or markings visible, walnut fullstock with steel mounts, sling swivels and original steel cleaning rod. GWO & QGC (metalwork heavily pitted and cleaned overall); with an 1866 pattern sword bayonet marked “St Etienne 1870”, in its scabbard, the blade VGC, scabbard and crosspiece painted black (non matching numbers)
A 19th century US officer’s dress sword, slender shallow diamond section blade, 29”, by “Ames Mf Co Chicopee Mass”, lightly etched for half length with “US”, eagle, trophies of crown and flags, etc, with scrolls in panels, traces of gilt to ornamental hilt with double shell guard, turn down (AF) inner portion, outer portion embossed with eagle on flags, knucklebow and pommel, slightly swollen wirebound grip in its in its plated (worn and bubbled) scabbard with brass chape, double and single rings. Basically GC Plate 10
A Vic 1845 pattern infantry field officers levee sword, slender, very slightly curved, fullered blade 32½”, etched on both sides with crown, VR cypher and foliage within fenestrated panels, regulation brass triple bar hilt incorporating crowned VR cypher, with turn down inner portion, stepped pommel, chequered thumbpiece, wirebound fishskin grip, in its brass scabbard with 2 rings. Basically GC (guard a little mis-shapen, outer bar split). GC (blade some wear, minor scabbard dents).
A mid 18th century smallsword, tapering, flattened hexagonal section blade 27¾”, etched on both sides with an ornamental panel at forte inscribed “De la Manufacture de Lamarque au Raisin de Sohlingen”, above which a foliate device including a small eagle, panelled brass hilt with double shell guard, pas d’ane rings, slightly swollen knucklebow and quillon, and semi ball pommel, finely diagonally ribbed darkwood grip, in its leather (AF) scabbard with brass locket and belt hook, and chape (dented). An interesting 1796 pattern light cavalry sword for mounted constabulary, curved fullered blade 32”, etched in capital letters in panels on one side “Horse Patrol (No 16” and on the other with maker “W. Parker. Warranted”, regulation steel strung hilt with langets, and “ears” to ribbed leather grip, plain pommel and backstrap, in its steel scabbard with 2 rings (throat mount missing). Generally GC (hilt pitted, dark pitting patina to scabbard). Plate 10
An Imperial German parade bayonet, plain polished blade 7¾” with single narrow fuller and DE point, steel hilt with bird’s head pommel having dummy spring button, chequered wood grips mounted on one side with gilt iron crowned shield with Imperial German eagle, in its black painted steel scabbard. GC (blade sharpened, scabbard paint chipped, partly cut mounting lug groove at the back of the pommel).

The hilt having a gilt wire wrapped celluloid handle, eagle pommel holding a wreathed Swastika, straight crossguard with globular finals, anchor emblem and push release button. The blade being a double edged, double fullered etched stiletto blade and unmarked ricasso along with the original oak leaf and chased decorated scabbard with hanger rings. Scabbard having some dents and pommel loose fitting. Measures; 42cm long overall

An incredibly rare original WWI First World War French ' Nail ' trench dagger / fighting knife. c1914. Steel construction knuckleduster handled dagger, set within its original and crudely constructed wooden scabbard with leather frog. Measures 32cm long in total. Rare piece of WWI weaponry. The French Nail were locally fabricated and converted bayonets, knives and stabbing weapons for use in the First World War. These were crude stabbing spikes made by adding a point to a steel stake which had its rearmost section heated and bent into a crude handle.
Two early to mid 20th Century ornate African daggers to include; North African Sahara 20th century tribal Tuareg (Twareg or Tourareg) dagger having an ebony, bone and brass handle with a brass winged grossguard, decorated brass ricasso and a steel curved double edge blade along with a chased brass and copper designed scabbard ( 32cm ) and another Tuareg dagger having a tooled leather handle and scabbard with white metal decoration. ( 24cm ).
