Iron ring-nut, with remains of silver-inlaid undulated lines. grip with antique covering in fish skin, remains of silk lacing. Iron cap, decorated in silver. No scabbard. length 84.5 cm.

Strongly embedded blade, to verify if nagako is signed. Fine, wooden haft, lacquered in brown (small parts missing), gilded central part, copper mounts, the cap pierced with a heart. Iron chape with copper ring-nut. Wooden scabbard for the blade, lacquered in black. length 242 cm.

Silver foil hilt with small ring-nut, almost cylindrical grip with brass wire binding in the center and trefoil pommel. All the silver surface engraved with rinceaux. A cabochon coral in the center of pommel. Wooden scabbard covered with leather dyed in black, cap with a dragon's head, chape with iron band, silver front plate and copper back (probably replaced). Together with a single-edged accompanying knife. Grip en suite with the sword, in silver, with brass band and cabochon coral, a lug on the back. Scabbard with silver cap shaped as dragon's head, silver foil in the front part, iron band on the border, copper on the back. length 84 - 42,5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Geneva, Rifled, round, 10 mm cal. barrel, with octagonal base, signed 'J.N PETER A GENEVE' and marked 'ACIER FONDU', adjustable rear sight, fore-sight and clutch for a bayonet; forward spring lock, marked with crowned stamp 'BF'. Wooden, full stock, with iron mounts. Set trigger. Back with opening to host a peep sight; iron ramrod. Complete with bayonet with a scabbard. length 126 cm.

No provenance, consigned by the trade.Sword with several very small nicks to the blades edge, otherwise good.Top and base brass mounts to the scabbard are loose.Leather is very worn and cracked but firm.Sword is tight in scabbard.
An 1854 pattern Welsh Guards Officer's sword by Wilkinson Sword Co, the 80cm blade (tip missing) etched with a crowned GRVI cypher amongst foliage, the opposing side etched with a crowned Welsh Guards emblem and various battle honours, marked to the forte with Royal coat of arms by appointment to his late Majesty King George V, Wilkinson Sword Co Ltd London, numbered 67786 to the back edge, having a typical pierced steel hilt with wirebound fish skin grip and chequered back strap, housed in a leather covered steel scabbard with frog, 96cm.Condition report: Tip of blade missing, etching to blade generally good but with areas of wear, the hilt is in need of re-plating, some shrinking to the fish skin grip.
An 1853 pattern Cavalry Trooper's sword, the 89cm single edged curved fullered blade stamped to the forte with a crown L8 below, further stamped to the back edge B with two crowned broad arrow marks, the blackened three bar hilt stamped 7H 681, having chequered leather two piece grip, housed in a blackened steel scabbard stamped 2 DG with G 54 below, 104cm.

Light dents to the scabbard near tip.Inscription to cartouche of scabbard but unable to read.Blade 4cm at broadest point.Hilt is very loose.Wire to grip is intact.

Some shrinkage to the leather grip with wear to the chequering.Sword loose in scabbard.Overall condition good.

A FAIRBAIRN SYKES MK1 FIGHTING KNIFE by Wilkinson Sword Co. Limited, in leather scabbard, the blade 17cm long, 30cm long overall with a WWII group of four to Sergeant James Caskie McLuckie No. 6 Commando with a letter of provenance from his son and various related items - patches, buttonholes, scarf, 50th Anniversary medallion etc Condition Report: The knife and scabbard are in good condition, the only issue is the hilt is intermittently a bit loose and sometime turns a bit, I assume this can be tightened. The rest of the lot is in good condition. the cross guard seems fine, but the hilt is a bit loose and turns a little, I assume this can be tightened.

A WWII JAPANESE NCO'S SWORD the cast metal hilt with a pair of Menuki and the arsenal markings, the 69.5cm long curved fullered blade numbered 19436, in painted metal scabbard, 96.5cm overall length Condition Report: The scabbard is quite rough but has no dents, the serial numbers match, though the last two numbers on the mouthpiece are faint. The opening lever works, the blade and scabbard are not bent out of shape and there is no jiggle.
