Regimentally Engraved German Army Officers Lion Head Sword by Carl Eickhorn, fine example retaining nearly all of its original fire gilt finish to the lion head top, back strap, guard and eagle with swastika cross guard. Red jewelled eyes to the lion head. Grip retaining the original wire binding. Housed in the original black painted service scabbard. The slightly curved single edged blade is finely engraved with patterned foliage and panel with “Artillerie Regiment No 22 Luneburg” to one side, the other side of the blade etched with German army style eagle and swastika and horse drawn Artillery gun team. Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some minor paint chips to the scabbard but otherwise a very good example of an original engraved Army officers dress sword.
Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife, being a late WW2 / early post war example with single piece ribbed grip and brass top nut. Oval steel cross guard. Double edged blade measuring 16 ¾ cms. Housed in the original leather scabbard with brass lower chape. Heavily corroded grip and cross guard with the blade showing signs of sharpening and surface rusting. As found example.
Third Reich SA Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger, brown wooden handle with metal eagle and enamel SA device inserted into the handle. Lower cross guard stamped to the reverse “Nm”. Housed in its original steel scabbard. Blade remains in excellent condition with much of the original finish remaining to the blade. Carl Wusthof Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. The blade measures 22cms in length approx. Some rusting, patina and wear to the exterior. Good untouched example.
1853 Pattern Regimentally Marked Cavalry Troopers Sword, steel swept bar hilt with regimental stamping “10 RH 348” (10th Royal Hussars), two piece leather grips. Sword knot tied to the hilt. Plain single edged slightly curved blade with fuller to the back section. Various acceptance stamps and markings. Blade measures 88cms in length. No scabbard. These swords first saw service during the Crimean War, the 10th Royal Hussars were engaged during the Crimean War at the Siege of Sebastopol and the Battle of Eupatoria.
Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Officers Dress Dagger, blue leather grip retaining the grip wire, zinc metal cross guard and top pommel with swastikas to the centre. Housed in its original steel scabbard with metal mounts but no leather covering. Original aluminium hanging straps attached to the scabbard. Un-maker marked double edged blade measuring 30 ½ cms in length. Some corrosion and bubbling to the metal fittings on the exterior of the dagger.

Cross guard with the original button release catch in working order. Brass scabbard with etched decoration and two hanging rings. Original Kriegsmarine issue silver bullion wire dress knot (portepee) loosely tied to the grip. Double edged blade with etching of foliage and anchors etc measuring 24 ½ cms in length. E u F Horster, Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some surface staining to the blade but otherwise good untouched example.

Sword housed in the brown leather field service scabbard. Single edged blade with partial fuller. Blade with remains of the original etched decoration. Some surface staining to the blade and grease. Blade measures 88cms in length.

Back strap stamped with various markings and acceptance stamps. Polished slightly curved blade with fuller to the back edge. Blade measures 85cms in length. No scabbard.

Blue velvet backed cloth dress straps with damaged metal clip fittings. Double edged blade with Alcoso makers trade mark to the base. The blade measures 25cms in length approx. Original officers bullion dress knot (portepee) attached to the grip. Good untouched example.
Victorian / Edwardian 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Warrant Officers Sword, brass dish guard having fouled anchor with Victorian crown above. Black grip retaining the original grip wire. Plain top pommel incorporating the back strap. Bullion Royal Navy sword knot attached to the guard. Blade with Kings crown above anchor and foliage etching. W Chappell & Co Ltd 267 Commercial Road Portsmouth trade mark to the forte and spine stamped London Made. Housed in its original leather scabbard with brass mounts. Blade 80cms. Some light surface wear to the blade but otherwise a very good example.
Third Reich Transitional D.L.V / 1st Pattern Luftwaffe Dress Dagger, being a cross over pattern example. Blue leather grip retaining the original wire binding, top pommel with inlaid gilt mobile swastika, early pattern cross guard with inlaid mobile swastika to each side. Original blue leather covered scabbard with the original D.L.V type nickel silver mounts with staple bolts to the reverse. Original un-marked nickel silver ringed hanging chains with clip fitting. Near mint condition double edged blade measuring 30 ½ cms in length. SMF Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade and stamped acceptance stamp. Blue leather spacer still intact. Some minor scuffing to the leather work but generally a very nice example of a scarce and desirable early transitional Luftwaffe dagger.
SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger, having early type copper based eagle and enamel rune device set within the grip, plated top and lower chape with some of the plating lifted. Complete with its original scabbard retaining both fittings. Un-maker marked double edged blade measuring 22cms in length. Blade with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. Small section of the reverse of the handle missing but otherwise good example of an early SS mans dagger.

Housed in its original steel scabbard with brown finish. Blade remains in good overall condition with the original etched motto. Reverse of the blade with makers trade mark logo for F A Kirschbaum & Co, Solingen. Lower chape has dent and small crack and the handle has some abrasions but otherwise a good example by an unusual maker.

Original miniature bullion knot (portepee) attached to the grip. Housed in the original scabbard, missing scabbard rings. Polished blade with DRGM and SMF Solingen makers trade mark to the base. Other side of the blade has etched company logo to the centre. Some wear but generally a good example of a miniature salesman sample dagger.Lower section of the grip appears to be repaired, but obscured by the bullion dress knot
George V 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Officers Dress Sword Attributed to Lieutenant Albert Edward Major Royal Navy, regulation pattern example with brass dish guard incorporating crowned anchor. Fish skin grip retaining the original wire binding. Gilt lion head pommel with backstrap. Officers bullion dress sword knot. Locking plate catch to the reverse of the sword. Housed in its original leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts. Top mount is engraved “A.E.MAJOR”. The blade remains in very good condition with much of the original polished finish and etching. Edwards & Gittings, High Street Gillingham retailers mark to the base. Spine of the blade numbered 6937 and his initials A E M also engraved. Accompanying the sword is his original certificate of service which indicates WW1 service and awards of the 1914-15 star medal trio. Very good example.
A small Middle Eastern knife, the ivory coloured handle in the form of a sheep's knuckle with turquoise mounts, and Islamic text to the handle with further script to the slightly curved blade, within a sheath with turquoise mounts and wire filigree back, total length 8ins Condition report: Some rusting to the blade, turquoise missing to handle and crack and chips to end of handle. Scabbard has a turquoise missing
German NSKK Service Dagger - The National Socialist Motor Corps (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps, NSKK) The dagger consists of a smooth dark brown wooden handle with a black metal scabbard and is in excellent condition. The handle has an eagle on one side clutching a swastika with both claws. The SA symbol is displayed inside a circle placed just above the eagle. The blade has a double-edge. The words "Alles Fur Deutchland" are placed on one side. The manufacturer's logo is placed on the other side.
