(86cms) double-edged blade etched with scrolls around royal cipher and 'Royal Artillery', the hilt with fluted scrolling knuckle guard above wire bound shagreen grip, steel cut chequered back and stepped pommel, the scabbard covered in brown leather, 41in. (104cms) long overall.
A British post 1805 naval officer's sword, early 19th Century, the 32in. (81cms) long fullered blued blade with gilt decoration of war trophies, crest, anchors and maker's mark, looks to read "Robertson, Strand", fitted bow lacquered brass knuckle guard and wire-bound ivory grip under a lion mask pommel (no scabbard), 36 1/2in. (93cms) long overall.

A Swedish M/1896 bayonet and scabbard by Eskilstuna Jernmanufaktur Aktie Bolag Variously stamped; together with a Danish M/62 bayonet and scabbard, marked for Haerens Tekniske Korps (Army Technical Corps); and a Continental Commando knife and scabbard, the blade marked WK & C, all with belt frogs. 35.5 cm, 31 cm and 35 cm long overall, respectively. J & B Green Limited 1918. This lot is accompanied by some research. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 319: sword bag worn, sword blade with some staining, grip worn, sword knot worn, scabbard some marks - overall in good condition for age. Binoculars Ok, wear to leather of case, medals OK.

Folding guard. In its brass mounted leather scabbard with ornate mounts. A good example and a collectors lot.

SMITH 12 Piccadilly, London'' Nicely etched blade with Victorian cypher. In its steel scabbard (light pepper pitting) two suspension rings. A good example of this iconic sword.
Sword: An 1821 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword. Blade engraved 'Prince of Wales Own Hussar's' and the initials 'A.H.C' (Major A.H Cass) Major Cass joined the regiment in India in 1851 and 1867. (Indian Mutiny 1857) Sword by Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London (unnumbered). Triple bar steel hilt, wirebound fishskin grip (handling service wear) In its steel scabbard. Lot also includes and original 6 page letter written from the Cavalry Camp, Balaklava, June 17th 1855 with additions dated June 18th by Lieut Arthur Herbert Cass. An interesting sword with rare provenance. In good overall condition.
