A Geo V 1897 pattern infantry officers sword of The R Fusiliers, straight fullered blade 32½, by Wilkinsons “By Appointment to His Late Majesty King George V” at forte, no 68399 (for 1939), on backstrap, etched with crowned R Arms, GVR cypher and wreath on both sides, with officer’s name “Geo A.
