A late 19th century courtsword, tapering hollow triangular section blade 32”, by Timewell & Fulcher, Sackville St, London, etched for half length with trophy and wreath in scrolled panels, polished steel hilt with turn down shell guard, knucklebow, urn pommel and swollen grip, facetted and set with cut steel star studs overall, in its black leather scabbard with ribbed steel locket and chape (kinked at junction). GC (some wear).
A Vic RN officer’s sword, slightly curved, fullered blade 31½” by E&W Seagrove, Hard, Portsea, etched on one side with crowned R Arms with supporters and motto, and crowned fouled anchor on the other, in scrolled panels, regulation solid half basket hilt, the guard incorporating crowned fouled anchor and with turn down inner portion, lion’s head pommel and backstrap, wirebound sharkskin grip (no scabbard). GC, the hilt retaining much original gilt (minor wear and light pitting stains to blade).
An early 20th century continental infantry officer’s sword, pipe back blade 31”, etched with a star, coat of arms and foliate panels inscribed “Faderneslandet” and”Konunger”, the gilt brass hilt having lion’s head pommel, the guard pierced with scrolls and flowers and with crowned “M” (?) cypher, with wire bound sharkskin covered grip, in its plated steel scabbard. GC (small patches of light pitting to blade, grip wire AF, patches of wear to scabbard). See inside back cover
A Third Reich Army officer’s sword, plated blade 31” with post 1941 Eickhorn mark on one side, the other side stamped “Esser & Co, Koln”, etched on both sides with panels of scrolls, foliage, crossed cannon and trophies of arms, the brass hilt embossed with curly borders and scrolls, and with flat knucklebow and army eagle on the angular langet, with wire bound black plastic grip, in its black painted steel scabbard. GC (scabbard paint slightly crazed and worn). Plate 8

Basically GC (some wear, no scabbard, hilt mis-shapen)
