dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Tibet, Straight blade with remains of forging line, featuring some pitting. Small iron quillon decorated with longitudinal grooves and with remains of gilding. Beautiful ring nut and pommel, also of iron, engraved with pierced racemes and gilded. The pommel also decorated with a coral cabochon. Wooden grip. Leather scabbard covered with red cloth and completely bordered with iron bands that converge at the chape in a single hilt, inside which is also inserted a thin sheet decorated with pierced racemes en suite with the dagger. All the mounts on the front side with gilding. In the centre also three large jade and coral cabochons. Provided with an expert's report for Cites purposes which certifies its production before 1947, it therefore complies with European rules for the trade of protected species. length 46 cm.

A gift of the 'SAN MARCO' Blackshirts to Commander Roberto Servadio Cortesi. The heirloom comes directly from Servadio's family, who can at any time confirm its authenticity. dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Slightly curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with double groove near the weak, the back strongly reinforced and carved with waves, engraved and gilded at the first part of the blade with the Savoy coat of arms between fine floral decorations on a gilded background. At the forte the inscriptions 'I. E. BLECKMANN' marked in gold on one side and 'SOLINGEN' on the other. Typical iron hilt, with cross-shaped quillon with long, faceted cap. Anatomical wooden grip. Complete with iron scabbard with two suspension rings. Iron parts in patina. It needs cleaning. length 99.5 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Flat, curved, single-edged blade made of damask, on the right side a short, silver-inlaid inscription in Arabic on a dark background. Brass hilt with remains of silver plating decorated with floral motifs in low-relief. Horn grips with angled pommel decorated with two bullion and sequin tassels. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with mounts decorated en suite. Three suspension rings. length 91 cm.
dating: late 17th Century provenance: Swiss, Curved, single-and-false-edged blade with double groove going from the back to the centre for almost its entire length. Iron and brass hilt, straight braided quillon with a dragon at the end. Loop guard decorated en suite with the quillon. Brass pommel with dog's face. Grip with metal wire binding (probably of later date). Leather scabbard with brass mounts. length 73 cm.
dating: late 18th Century provenance: Europe, Straight, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller at the centre and narrow back groove, engraved at the base with hounds, a boar, a stag, a heart pierced by arrows and floral motifs. Bronze hilt with remains of silver plating, the shell-guard with winged serpents surmounted by a crown, the rest carved with floral motifs, ebony grip. Wooden scabbard with silver-coloured metal mounts, decorated with floral motifs. Cap with belt hook. Together with a large belt (probably more recent) provided with a belt frog support and decorated with band made of gilded and silvered threads, brass buckle. length 71,7 cm.
dating: First half of the 20th Century provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Straight, double-edged blade, slightly ribbed, engraved on half of its length on an opaque background, featuring an eagle, trophies and Savoy coat of arms, an aeronautical eagle under crown and floral motifs. With marks 'ME FECIT SOLINGEN' at the tang, 'CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN' on one side and 'LUIGI PAOLETTI LIVORNO' on the other side. Wing-shaped, gilded-brass hilt. Long cap shaped as an eagle's head with button worked as a crown. Black grip with brass wire binding. Leather scabbard, gilt brass mounts. Two lugs. Complete with sword knot, clutches and green cloth case. length 92 cm.
dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Southern Italy, Straight, double-edged blade of hexagonal section. Tang pierced, carved and engraved with a torch between two wings, flames made of copper. The following part pierced at the centre with a long arrow and toothed semicircles. Finely carved, iron knot. Octagonal, wooden grip with silver mounts, front and back bands with floral and heart inlays, side bands with floral, heart and half-moon inlays, intertwined staves at the corners, outlined cap (small pitting) and ring nut. Wooden scabbard covered with blue velvet (completely frayed) and with engraved, silver-foil mounts (detached chape), belt hook. High quality. Provenance: De Simone Collection. length 32.6 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: Klingenthal, Wide, curved, single-and-false-edged blade with wide fuller at the center, engraved with 'Fran.se' at the base of the right side, and 'Rep.e' on the other side, marked 'KLINGENTHAL' at the border. Brass hilt with langets, straight quillon with button-shaped ends. Stirrup loop guard with the same mark. Long cap. Wooden handle with leather covering, no wire binding. Wooden scabbard with leather covering and two, long, brass mounts and two suspension rings, iron drag. length 94 cm.
