AN 1897 PATTERN NCO'S SWORD AND MEDAL GROUPING, 82cm blade by WILKINSON and with various Ordnance stamps at the forte, regulation pierced and plated steel hilt incorporating a crowned EVIIR cypher, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its steel mounted field service scabbard, complete with knot and miniature medals: QSA, 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal, Defence Medal and 39-45 Medal, the BWM with MID. This grouping pertains to Major George Allan Royal Marines, sold with a page of notes detailing his service from Aged 17 as a Private in 1897 to a Major during the Second World War.

A label attached reads Heirloom No. 8 GERMAN SWORD D R A HOTCHKIS Captured at BLECHEDE on the River Elbe April 1945. Blechede is probably Bleckede.
A GOOD LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY FIRANGI OR SWORD, 83.5cm slightly curved blade with a gold decorated reinforcing strap to the midpoint on one edge and a further shorter reinforcing strap on the other, both pierced with a foliate design, characteristic hilt composed of an upturned guard, broad tapering knuckle guard and dished disc pommel with extended faceted tang with a flowerhead terminal, the whole with a gold foliate border and decorated with chevrons and panels of scrolling foliage and flowerheads in gold, contained in its blue velvet wrapped wooden scabbard with silver bullion wire decoration.
A GOOD TULWAR, 79cm curved damascus blade, characteristic hilt decorated over all with scrolling foliage and flowerheads on a stippled ground all within a geometric border, the large disc pommel decorated to match and with a short spike finial pierced for and retaining its silver organic tendril ring, the whole emerging from a sunburst, contained in its white metal mounted cloth wrapped wooden scabbard, the mounts decorated with geometric designs and animals.
A FINE JADE HILTED INDIAN KARD OR DAGGER, 19.25cm fine quality damascus blade, characteristic hilt decorated with scrolling foliage and flower heads in gold damascene, pale jade grip, the angular pommel set with a natural emerald within a circular gold mount, contained in its blue velvet wrapped wooden scabbard, the mounts decorated in gold damascene to match.
A 19TH CENTURY INDIAN CHOORA OR DAGGER, 29.5cm T-section damascus blade with chiselled back edge, characteristic hilt with two-piece riveted bone grips decorated with two bands of red dyed geometric patterns, the back strap with a small panel of calligraphy, contained in its brass wrapped wooden scabbard decorated over its entirety with panels and bands of geometric designs and a further small panel of calligraphy.

A LARGE 19TH CENTURY CAUCASIAN KINDJAL, 42cm triple fullered flattened diamond section blade finely inlaid in gold with panels of calligraphy, further inlaid in gold with panels of foliage to either side of the forte, characteristic white metal hilt embossed with geometric designs and panels of flower heads, contained in its embossed white metal scabbard decorated to match.
A LATE 19TH OR VERY EARLY 20TH CENTURY MENELIK II GUARDS SWORD, 80cm double fullered broadsword blade profusely etched with panels of scrolling foliage, further etched with the lion and standard emblem and the initials G.G, characteristic shaped rhinoceros horn hilt, chipped, contained in its tooled leather scabbard.
