8 3/4 inch double edged blade etched “Alles Fus Deutschland”. The reverse bearing “In Herzlicher Freundschaft” inscription over maker’s faint “EP** Solingen” mark. White metal crossguard stamped “NO” and white metal pommel guard. Wooden grip inlaid with eagle and swastika and circular enamelled SA device. Contained in its steel scabbard with white metal mounts. Blade edge resharpened. Grip face cut down and eagle loose. Steel scabbard dented and pitted condition. Following Hitler’s purge on the SA during “The Night Of The Long Knives” Rohm was shot at Stadelheim Prison by SS Obersturmbannfuhrer Michael Lippert on 2nd July 1934. An order dated 4th July required all Rohm inscriptions to be obliterated from the blades. Failure to do this risked severe punishments.

Single hanging ring retaining its leather and white metal belt clip. Grip retains its leather retaining strap. Blade possibly resharpened to tip.
