A Good 1803 Pattern Grenadier Guards Officer's Sword, 82.5cm sharply curved blued and gilt blade by Osborn & Gunby decorated with scrolling foliage, a figure of Britannia beneath a stand of arms containing a shield bearing a rampant lion and a crowned Royal arms, retaining approximately 80% blue and gilt, some fading, regulation gilt hilt incorporating a crowned GR cypher surmounted with a flaming grenade, bold lion's head pommel, wire bound ribbed horn grip, contained in its gilt mounted leather scabbard, complete with buff sword knot.
An 1853 Pattern Cavalry Trooper's Sword to the 4th Dragoon Guards, 90cm slightly curved fullered blade, regulation three-bar steel hilt stamped 4DG B41, chequered two-piece leather grips, scabbard lacking, together with a fencing foil. It has been discussed that the 1853 Pattern was used in the Crimea, consequently this sword was possibly used in the Charge of the Heavy Brigade.(2)

A Victorian 1st Life Guards Officer's Sword, 88.5cm clean blade by Hawkes & Co, etched with a maker's panel at the forte, regulation polished steel hilt applied with characteristic crowned Brass 1 and with stud decoration, retaining its buff leather liner, wire bound letherette grip, contained in its brass mounted polished steel scabbard, the upper mount engraved with the initials JJCC, complete with buff and bullion knot.
An 1821 Pattern Light Cavalry Officer's Sword to Edward Leyborne Popham DSO, 90cm slightly curved blade etched with scrolling foliage, crowned VR cyphers and owner's initials ELP, regulation three-bar steel hilt, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its steel scabbard. Colonel Edaward Leyborne Popham DSO was born in 1876 and initially served with 26th (King George's Own) Indian Light Cavalry. In 1914 he commanded the Aden Infantry Brigade. DSO London Gazette 17th October 1917.

Band DCM, 86.5cm blade by HENRY WILKINSON, serial no. 54615 etched with scrolling foliage, Royal Arms, Regimental devices and the inscription PRESENTED TO LIEUT. J. BAND. D.C.M. BY HIS FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE WEST HUNSLET CONSERVATIVE CLUB IN APPRECIATION OF THE HONOURS CONFERRED UPON HIM ON THE 19TH DECEMBER 1915. AND THE 30TH MAY 1917, regulation three-bar steel hilt with stepped pommel, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its field service scabbard complete with frog and straps. London Gazette 14th January 1916 - Awarded DCM - 1420 Battery Serjeant-Major J. Band, 2nd (West Riding) Battery, Royal Field Artillery, T.F.
An 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword to Colonel Ross Thompson R.E., 82cm blade by HENRY WILKINSON, serial no. 38022, etched with scrolling foliage, crowned VR cypher, crowned Royal arms and owner's initials RT, regulation pierced steel hilt incorporating the Royal cypher, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its steel scabbard, together with a small quantity of research. Colonel Ross Thompson was born in 1838 and variously served as a Lieutenant in the Madras Engineers before transferring to the Royal Engineers where he obtained the rank of Colonel by 1885. Eventually Ross Thompson rejoined the Madras Engineers in 1892 and was attached to the 2nd Queen Victoria's Sappers & Miners. On the 5th of December 1919 at the age of 81 Colonel Ross Thompson died and is listed on the 1914-18 Madras War Memorial at Chennai, being one of the oldest known deaths in service.
A Victorian 1854 Pattern Guards Officer's Sword, 82.5cm clean blade by HENRY WILKINSON, serial no. 8334, retaining most of its original polish and etched only with a crest at the forte, regulation steel gothic hilt incorporating a flaming grenade, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its steel scabbard. Hilt and scabbard painted black. Captain William Robert Gamul Farmer JP DL. Born 12th of July 1838 and died in 1910. Lived at Nonsuch park.
