Third Reich Partial Ground Röhm Inscription SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by Ernst Pack & Sohn, Solingen, good untouched example of a SA dress dagger with brown wooden grip having enamel SA device and nickel silver eagle inserted. Nickel silver grip mounts with the lower guard being stamped ‘No’. Good anodised scabbard with single hanging ring to the top mount having original short pattern brown leather dagger hanger attached. Standard double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and makers trade mark to the reverse. The blade also has the partial Röhm inscription still remaining with just a part and the name Ernst Röhm being removed. Blade is in generally good condition with just some surface staining. Some rusting to the scabbard. Blade 22 ¼ cms, overall 36 ¾ cms.

WW2 German Police Bayonet by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, example with two piece stag horn grips, aluminium police eagle emblem to the centre. Eagle pommel top and cross guard with oakleaves relief. Housed in the original leather scabbard with plated mounts. Bayonet and scabbard mounts both numbered ‘383’. Attached to the scabbard is the original frog. Polished blade with fuller to the back edge and makers trademark to the base. The blade with some light areas of sharpening, leather scabbard shrunk and some stitching faults to the reverse. Lower scabbard mount dented. Blade measures 32 ¾ cms, overall 47 ¼ cms.
American Civil War Union Cavalry Troopers Sword, regulation single edge blade cut with 1 broad and 1 narrow fuller on each side, forte faintly stamped . . . ES MF CHICOPEE MAS and (U)S AD 36, regulation triple bar brass hilt, wire bound leather covered grip, in its iron scabbard now refinished and nickel plated. Good condition, some age wear overall. Nickel plated grip mounts with the lower cross guard being stamped with gau mark ‘Wf’. Housed in its original scabbard with nickel mounts. Fine double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and the reverse with makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37 ½ cms. An unusual and hard maker to find.
WW1 British Officers Trench Knife by S Hibbert & Son, Sheffield, fine example with composite chequered grip, aluminium knuckle guard and housed in brown leather scabbard with securing strap. Thin knife blade with makers details stamped to the base. The blade measures 12 ½ cms, overall 25cms. During WW1 many manufacturers produced equipment and weapons which mostly officers could purchase to take with them for front line service on the Western Front, this style of knife was very popular and many manufacturers made similar examples.
Edward VII Royal Navy Officers Dirk with Blue and Gilt Blade, interesting example of a Royal Naval dirk with the grip having the wire binding, lion head pommel and back strap with relief. Cross guard with central crowned anchor within laurel spray and acorn finials. Housed in leather and brass mounted scabbard. Rear button release on the hilt. Single edged blade etched with crowned anchor, Edward VII cipher and pattern, the blade is complete with a blue and gilt decoration. The blade measures 45cms, overall 59cms. Unusual variation.

Pommel with swastika to the centre of both sides and eagle in flight design cross guard. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Standard double edged blade with makers trademark to the base. Couple of small nicks to the blade, but generally good example. Blade measures 25cms, overall 43cms.
Third Reich Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Dress Dagger by SMF, Solingen, fine untouched example of a 1st pattern Luftwaffe dress dagger with much of the gilt wash finish remaining to the mobile swastika in the pommel and cross guard. Blue leather covered grip with wire binding. Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver fittings. Attached to the scabbard is the original hanging chains with clip fitting. Nice patina to the exterior fittings. Double edged blade with makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 30 ½ cms, overall 48cms. Generally a good untouched example, some leather loss to the scabbard but otherwise a good example.
Rare Imperial German Bavarian M1869/98 Conversion Bayonet, interesting example being a WW1 conversion using a blade from a M1869 Bavarian Werder rifle bayonet fitted to a Mauser Model 1898 hilt. Acceptance stamps to the reverse of the hilt. Blade edge stamped ‘3’. Remains in generally good condition with just some surface pitting and evidence of cleaning. No scabbard. Blade 46 ¾ cms, overall 60 cms.
Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Lion Head Officers Sword by Alexander Coppel, Solingen, good silver plated lion head pattern officers sword with jewelled ruby eyes, black celluloid grip with wire binding. Langet with polished raised SS runes and blackened finished backing to the shield. Housed in the blackened scabbard with single hanging ring. Plain slightly curved blade. Makers trademark to the base under the langet. Blade measures 82 ¼ cms, overall 98cms. Generally good condition. Before the introduction of the standard SS sword degen, many German army swords were worn by SS officers, many either being silver plated or having the gilt finish removed, some examples have green jewelled eyes or the red like this example. Housed in its original scabbard with RAD emblem to the bottom chape. Fixed hanging strap bar. Standard Hewer type blade with motto ‘Arbeit adelt’ and reverse with acceptance stamp and makers trademark. Blade 24 ¾ cms, overall 39 ½ cms.
Ottoman Empire Turkish M-1890 Mauser Bayonet, good untouched example with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel, cross guard with muzzle ring and down turned quillon. Housed in the leather and steel mounted scabbard. Lower chape now absent. German leather bayonet frog attached to the scabbard. Partially double edged blade with fuller to the back edge. The blade measures 46cms, overall 59cms. Leather shrunk and with stitching faults, steel work with pitting.

Some wear to the blade and evidence of sharpening to one edge.

Good condition, retains approximately 70% original blued and gilt decoration, multiple edge nicks, both suspension rings missing from scabbard. Blade 76cms, overall 88cms.

Exterior fittings all with matching patina. Lower cross guard stamped ‘I’. Housed in its original scabbard with single hanging ring. Some dents to the lower scabbard mount. Fine condition double edged blade with much of the original blacking to the motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse of the blade has the makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Overall a good untouched example of a desirable dagger by a desirable maker.

The blade measures 17 ¼ cms, overall 31 cms.

Single edged blade with fuller to the back edge. Spine stamped with acceptance stamp and crowned ‘W’ over 87. Base of the blade with makers mark ‘ALEX COPPEL SOLINGEN’. Blade 25cms, overall 39 ½ cms.

Reichmann Cavalry Sword, XIX Century probably Austrian with scabbard, 101cm long.The scabbard repainted – one side has a 3cm pronounced linear dents, the other side has several smaller. The blade has lots of pitting, but no major chips, the tip has probably been ground down. The hilt and handle have been repaired, there is a hole in the handle, blade 84cm long and scabbard 89cm long.

French Chassepot M.1866 pattern bayonet and scabbard, with 1868 spine date, also an infantry sabre with ribbed Gladius style grip, curved single fuller blade, fitted into an incorrect Italian 1860 pattern scabbard. Sword stick, with cane scabbard and embossed silver mounts hallmarked Birmingham 1891, the blade marked 'Peace with Honour' and Defence not Defiance'Buyer must be over the age of 18. Age verification ID will be required if this lot is to be posted out. 90.5cm long The sword blade is generally in good order but it has three dark corrosion patches, one of which is probably too deep to fully polish away. The blade is slightly distorted / bent along its length, this can be seen if sighting down the rib as if the sword was a rifle. The blade otherwise has some light speckled pitting which would probably clean up with ease. The locking catch is corroded and does not appear to lock into anything inside the scabbard and there is perhaps something missing from the throat of the scabbard to facilitate locking. The scabbard has an old dark crack which appears stable and does not move when pressure is applied to it. The end cap of the scabbard is missing and an ugly rubber cap has been placed there instead. There are some light scratches to the finish.
Medieval re-enactors equipment, to include a Spangenhelm Nasal steel helmet with chain main back in card box, a broadsword and scabbard, with 46inch (max) belt, a Windlass spear, an axe a tunic in L/XL size with white cross motif, and a pair of leather gloves.
