Two piece stag horn grips with aluminium police eagle emblem to the centre. Cross guard with oakleaves relief to the obverse, the reverse only has partial oakleaves and stamped ‘S.D.IV.386. Housed in its original black leather scabbard with nickel plated fittings. Attached to the scabbard is an original black leather bayonet frog. Attached to the frog is an other ranks pattern leather and cloth portepee (knot). Plain straight blade with fuller to the back edge. Horster makers stamp and to the reverse of the blade stamped with written details of the maker. Some light surface spots to the blade but otherwise a generally good example.

Housed in its original scabbard with leather bayonet frog attached. The leather and bullion portepee with pink fleck attached to the frog. Blade with fuller to the back edge, some light evidence of sharpening to the edge but still generally good. Blade stamped ‘SOLINGEN’.

Polished straight blade with fuller to the back edge. Blade maker marked by E Pack & Sohne Solingen but also with a distributor mark for ‘A SEYSEN BAMBERG’. Housed in an original period scabbard, but not correct for this bayonet.

Plated eagle pommel top and cross guard. Housed in the original scabbard. Plated blade with small fuller to the back edge. Makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Generally good condition.

Blade is etched to the reverse with German helmet and army eagle with centre having in gothic script, ‘Fur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit’. Puma Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some staining and wear to the blade, exterior fittings worn and scabbard rusted.

Housed in its original steel scabbard with 1940 dated black leather bayonet frog with strap attachment. Blade with fuller to the edge and numbered ‘152 i’ same as the scabbard. Blade by ‘RICH.A.HERDER’. Generally good example.

Housed in the original blued steel scabbard with 1941 dated leather bayonet frog attached. Near mint condition blued blade with fuller to the back edge. E.u.F Horster makers details and numbered 4930, the same as the top of the scabbard. Overall a very good example of a combat bayonet with just some light surface pitting to the reverse of the grip.

Complete with the original scabbard which is stamped ‘2985m’ and the blade is stamped ‘9808’ reverse side ‘DURKOPP’. Fuller to the back edge of the blade. Much blueing remains to the blade.

Mole & Sons Birmingham Makers to the War & India Offices, numbered M2014, pierced steel guard with VR cypher, chequered backstrap, domed pommel and wirebound fishskin grip, leather scabbard Length 108.5cm.Condition: Overall fair condition commensurate with age. Blade with light oxidation, a couple of small nicks to blade edge, some losses to leather on scabbard, with cracks and scuffs, stitching failing in lower section.
A George V WWI era 1897 pattern infantry officers sword by Ranken & Co Calcutta, and another sword by Samuel Brothers first signed fullered 32.5" blade with etched decoration, crown over GRI cypher, brass proof slug, signed Ranken & Co Ltd Calcutta, pierced steel guard with royal cypher, wire bound fishskin grip, leather scabbard , (2) first overall Length Condition: First with some occasional oxidation and marks to blade, scabbard fair but with occasional scuffs. Leather end piece of scabbard is detachable. Second blade is extensively oxidised as is guard. Scabbard is tired and repaired to mid section with sellotape, lacking endpiece.

A British 1845 pattern infantry officer's sword by Henry Wilkinson, single fullered etched curved blade, length 85.5cm, inscribed 'SEYMOUR BLANE. FROM HIS FRIEND AND COMRADE ROBERT. J. LINDSAY.' and numbered 7957, folding brass hilt with sword and baton cypher, wire bound fish skin grip, metal scabbard, length 100.5cm. Condition - hilt slightly bent, oxidisation to metal, losses to grip (wood and skin), dings to scabbard, general wear throughout, the blade doesn't appear to have been re-sharpened, there are no markings to the scabbard.
