A mid 20th Century Pattern No. 3 commando dagger in the manner of Fairburn & Sykes, together with brass mounted leather scabbard CONDITION REPORTS The knife is suffering from general wear and tear. The blade has small scratches and dark coloured marks. The blade edge in places has some very small chips or 'nibbles' in it. The handle and the hilt are both in need of a clean, and the hilt its rusty in places and is suffering from general wear and tear. The handle is generally slightly worn. The brass pommel on the end has two rectangular stamps to it, but they are worn and am unable to see what was there. The scabbard has wear and tear from general use and age. The leather is cracked or splitting in places with much wear to it. The straps are all broken. I am unable to see and numbers to the top of the handle.
