An important late 19th Century Yellow metal Arab Khanjar/Jambiya dagger with bone handle, intricate filigree decoration attached to a late 18th Century blade with pronounced central rib. Yellow metal scabbard with further filigree decoration, set five baguette cut stones (possibly rubies), pressed inscription to scabbard, woven yellow metal rings and wires complimented by woven cloth on scabbard. Yellow metal assayed as high carat gold. Provenance: Gifted to the deceased previous owner while on duty for the British government in the Middle East
George V 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword with etched blade by Henry Wilkinson, numbered 5238(or 6)3, blade length 82cm, sword length 97cm, with leather bound scabbard.CONDITION REPORT:There is ware damage to the leather scabbard and rusting on the blade, there is also ware to the basket handle with some rusting.
