WW2 German Army Officers Dagger with Black Grip by Robert Klaas, Solingen, good example of a WW2 German army officers dress dagger which has been fitted with a black celluloid grip, however we feel this is a post war addition and not period to the rest of the dagger. The pommel, cross guard and scabbard are all with matching patina. Double edged blade with small Robert Klass, Solingen makers trademark to the reverse. The blade measures 9 ¾ inches, overall 15 ½ inches.

Third Reich Transitional Hitler Youth Boys Dagger by Hartkoff & Co, Solingen, good example with two piece black chequered grips with enamel HJ diamond inserted to the centre. Housed in its original blackened steel scabbard with leather belt loop fitting to the reverse. Knife type blade with makers mark to the reverse and RZM M7/40. Some light staining to the blade and some scratches to the scabbard but otherwise a good example overall. Blade 5 ½ inches, overall 10 inches.

WW2 German Army Officers Sword by Ernst Pack & Sohne, Solingen, good example of the unattributed pattern type sword by this maker, with langet having armed forces down winged eagle and swastika, flat knuckle bow with oakleaves relief, leopard head pommel with glass ruby eyes and patterned backstrap. Reverse of the langet with the remains of original owners initials ‘KG’. Black celluloid covered grip with wire binding. Housed in its original steel scabbard with single hanging ring, possibly repainted. Slightly curved steel blade with makers trademark to the base. Generally good condition. Blade measures 33 ½ inches, overall 39 ½ inches.

WW2 Japanese Officers Sword Katana, good example with standard military mounts. Sharskin grip with brown cloth binding wrap. Two holes to the tang, which is signed on both sides. Brass menuki, copper fuchi and brass tsuba. Brown lacquer wood scabbard saya with brass mounts, small crack to the lacquer towards the bottom. Polished blade with copper habaki and hamon line. Some light stains and one small nick out of the blade. Attached to the grip is a modern replacement sword knot. Blade measures 26 ½ inches, overall 38 ½ inches.

Miniature WW2 German Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Officers Dress Dagger by Alcoso, Solingen, being the ¾ size miniature with yellow / orange celluloid grip, pommel with swastika to both sides, cross guard in the form of Luftwaffe eagle in flight. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Polished blade with makers trademark to the reverse. Small crack and section of grip missing. Blade measures 5 ¾ inches, overall 10 inches.

Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by Herbertz & Meurer, Solingen, untouched example of a SA dress dagger with brown wooden grip having enamel SA device and nickel silver eagle inserted. Fine grip mounts with the lower guard being stamped ‘He’. Good anodised scabbard with single hanging ring to the top mount. Ball tip dented and small crack. Standard double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and makers trade mark to the reverse. Blade shows some wear and polishing but generally still a good example of an early dagger by a uncommon maker. Blade 8 ½ inches, overall 14 ½ inches.

Third Reich Fire Police Bayonet, with two piece black chequered grips, plated eagle head pommel and ‘S’ type guard. Housed in blued steel scabbard with bayonet frog stud fitting. Un-maker marked plated blade with fuller to the back edge. The blade measures 9 ½ inches, overall 15 ½ inches.

Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Dagger by Friedrich Herder, Solingen, two piece black chequered grips with enamel HJ diamond to the centre. Housed in its original blackened scabbard with leather belt loop fitting to the reverse. Knife blade with remains of the original ‘Blut und Ehre!’ motto and lightly etched with RZM logo and M7/49 1939, which is the maker code for Friedrich Herder, Solingen. The blade shows evidence of sharpening to the edge, but otherwise generally a good example. Blade 5 ½ inches, overall 9 ¾ inches.

White celluloid grip with wire binding. Housed in its original early pattern brass scabbard with two hanging rings. Plain double edged blade with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 9 ¾ inches, overall 16 ¼ inches.

Plated top and lower grip mounts. Later pattern scabbard with plated mounts. Single hanging ring to the top scabbard mount. Double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ reverse with RZM M7/66 1941 mark which is for Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Blade with some staining, plating lifting in places to the mounts and some loss to the finish on the scabbard but still generally a good example. Blade 8 ¾ inches and overall 14 ¾ inches.

Pommel with swastika to the centre of both sides and eagle in flight design cross guard. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Standard double edged blade with makers trademark to the base and also Luftwaffe acceptance stamp. Blade measures 9 ¾ inches, overall 16 ½ inches.

Scottish George V Basket Hilt Broadsword Attributed to (Octavius) Leslie Bearn 9th Battalion Black Watch, who was Killed in Action on 23rd April 1917, regulation double edge blade cut with a single fuller and etched with royal cypher of George V and thistles, lower panel with etched ‘LESLIE BEARN 9TH BLACK WATCH’. Basket hilt with wire bound fish skin covered grip, red felt covered buckskin liner, in its leather covered field service scabbard. Blade 32 inches, overall 40 ½ inches. Remains in good overall condition, blade and exterior fittings have been polished. We believe that this sword belonged to Lieutenant Octavius Leslie Bearn who served with the 9th Battalion Royal Highlanders in France during WW1. He is shown as being killed in action on 23rd April 1917. He was born in 1892, Son of James and Isabella Bearn from Whittington, Manchester. Attached to the frog is the original black leather bayonet frog and the leather and bullion wire portepee. Blade with fuller to the back edge. Makers mark to the reverse for Tiger Solingen. Blade 9 ¾ inches, overall 15 ½ inches.

Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by Ernst Pack & Sohn, early model SA dress dagger with brown wooden grip having SA device and nickel silver eagle inserted, the SA emblem has lost the enamel and just the copper base can be seen. Grip mounts with the lower guard being stamped ‘Nrh’. Good anodised scabbard with single hanging ring to the top mount. Bottom ball with some denting and crack. Standard double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and makers trade mark to the reverse. Some wear to the blade with evidence of sharpening to the edge but generally still a good example. Blade 8 ¾ inches, overall 14 ½ inches.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Officers Sword by SMF Solingen, good example with nickel silver mounts showing a nice dark patina. Top pommel with mobile / sundial swastika to both sides and the same to the centre of the cross guard. Blue leather covered grip with wire binding. Housed in its scabbard with polished nickel silver mounts and blue leather covering, the leather covering has some scuffs and wear. Very good condition polished blade with fuller to the centre and SMF makers trademark to the base. Overall a good example. Blade 26 ¼ inches, overall 34 ¼ inches.

Housed in its blackened scabbard with frog stud. Brown leather bayonet frog attached. Blade fuller and sawback edge. Tiger Solingen trade mark to one side of the blade and the other side with ‘TIGER SOLINGEN’. Blade remains in generally good condition. Blade measures 7 ¾ inches, overall 15 ½ inches.

Third Reich NSKK (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps) Dress Dagger by Solinger Axt-und-Hauerfabrik, good example of an NSKK dress dagger with deep wooden grip having enamel SA and nickel silver eagle insignias inserted. Nickel silver grip mounts with the lower mount being impressed ‘No’. Housed in its original but later pattern scabbard with plated mounts and black painted finish. Single hanging ring to the top mount. Standard double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and makers trademark to the reverse. Blade with some surface marks but generally still a good example. Blade 8 ¾ inches, overall 14 ½ inches.

British 1796 Infantry Officers Sword, with copper wire bound grip, gilt brass folding guard, knuckle bow and top pommel. Bullion officers sword knot attached to the grip. Straight blade with the remains of the etched decoration still visible. Housed in a steel scabbard which is heavily dented in places. Blade measures 30 ¾ inches, overall 38 ½ inches.

Third Reich Police Bayonet by Alexander Coppel Solingen, with two piece stag horn grips having aluminium police eagle to the centre. Eagle head pommel and cross guard with oakleaves relief. Reverse side of the cross guard blank and the top scabbard mount also blank, but the side of the top scabbard mount is stamped with numbers ‘489’ these numbers are also stamped onto the spine of the blade. Housed in the original scabbard with plated mounts. Blade with fuller to the back edge. Stamped to the reverse and obverse with the makers details and trademark. Blade 12 ¾ inches, overall 19 inches.

Third Reich DLV / NSFK Flyers Dagger by SMF Solingen, good example of an early pattern DLV / NSFK flyers knife with nickel plated fittings. Blue leather covering to the grip and the scabbard. Black enamel swastika to the centre of both sides of the cross guard. Short leather hanger attached to the scabbard. The scabbard throat stamped with the NSFK winged man acceptance stamp. Blade being double edged with SMF trademark to the base. The blade measures 6 ¾ inches, overall 13 ¼ inches.

Housed in the original steel scabbard with black finish. Leather belt loop fitting to the reverse of the scabbard. Near mint condition knife blade with much of the original cross graining remaining. Blade stamped to the reverse with RZM logo and M7/93 for the maker Ewald Cleff, Solingen. The blade measures 5 ½ inches, overall 10 inches.

British Sword of East Surrey Regiment, the sword with the hilt having brass regimental badge of the regiment mounted. Shagreen grip which shows some wear. Housed in its leather covered field service scabbard. Blade is straight with fuller to the top section. Blade well worn and no decoration now present. Blade measures 33 inches, overall 40 ½ inches.

Extremely Rare Third Reich SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Richard Herder with Full Ernst Rohm Dedication, superb untouched as found example of a model 33 SS enlisted mans dress dagger with its original ebony grip with enamel SS runes emblem and nickel silver eagle to the grip. The nickel silver fittings are uncleaned and untouched with dirt and Verdigris. Small chip to the bottom section of the grip but this is all in the character of the dagger. Housed in its original scabbard with a surface rusting to the anodised centre and again the mounts have matching patina to the handle. Attached to the scabbard is the original short leather dagger hanger. The blade remains in near mint condition with much of the original cross graining remaining. Standard motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse side of the blade has makers trademark for Richard Herder Solingen. Also to the reverse of the blade is the extremely rare and full length Ernst Rohm dedication. Overall this is a superb dagger which has only recently come onto the market after being tucked away in northern Minnesota until recently in the veterans home who brought the dagger back after 1945. Blade 8.3 inches, overall 14.5 inches.

The pommel and cross guard with gilt mobile pattern swastika to the centres. Complete with the original blue leather covering to the grip with wire binding. Blue leather covered and aluminium fittings scabbard. Complete with hanging chains. Double edged blade with makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 12 inches, overall 19 inches. Some wear and scratches to the exterior fittings but generally a good example.

1919/21 Pattern German Naval (Reichsmarine) Officers Dagger, with gilt flame top pommel, black grip with wire binding and cross guard with press button release and anchor to the centre cartouche. Housed in a steel scabbard with frog stud to the front. Straight blade with double fullers to the centre. Small eagle over M acceptance stamp to the base of the blade. Some wear to the blade but exterior generally good condition. Blade 7 ¾ inches, overall 14 ½ inches. The black grip was said to signify the mourning of the Imperial German navy which was broken up at the end of WW1.

Black celluloid grip with wire binding. Leather and silver wire officers sword portepee attached to the grip. Housed in its blackened steel scabbard with single hanging ring. Slightly curved polished steel blade with fuller to back edge. Makers trademark to the reverse. Generally a good example. Blade measures 30 ½ inches, overall 37 inches.
