Napoleonic First Empire period French Diplomats short sword with 75.5sm triform blade. Ornate brass hilt with languette embossed with French eagle clutching lightning bolts and pommel decorated with two golden bees, which was the personal emblem of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Mother of pearl grips, no scabbard
Sword/Pistol: A scarce 18/19th century combination hunting sword with a flintlock pistol attached to the blade (22") which has a sawback top and spear point blade. Brass hilt with clamshell guard. Pistol in working order with trigger inside the guard. (The action cocks and fires and is in good working order. Please don't cock and fire it.). Grip made from deer antler. A lovely piece in very good condition for age. Lacks its leather scabbard. A rare piece of firearms curiosa.
Sword: An 1895 (?) Pattern presentation sword of the Dubai Police by Wilkinson sword. The sword in appears unissued condition. Flawless blade 32" with Wilkinson trademark. Fine wire bound fishskin grip, steel guard. In its two ring steel scabbard. (Slight scruff mark). Sword in factory new condition and of fine quality. A collectors lot.
Sword: An early 1796 type pattern sword with Spadroon hilt. Broad fullered blade 32" with D/E Spear point. Blade with 'J.J. Runkel Solingen' to top flat. George R. Cypher to one side with Crown & 'HONI SOIT QUI MALY PENSE' & 'DIEU ET MON DROIT' legends. Stand of Arms & other decorations to the blade. Vertically ribbed ivory (?) grip with cushion type (?) pommel. Gilt brass mounted scabbard with the locket engraved:-
Sword: An interesting broadsword by Henry Wilkinson. Blade 28" with 'Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London' to ricasso and the legend 'DEUS VULT' and 'Conclave MCMXXI' (1921). Seems to commemorate a Templar Conclave of the Crusader Knights in 1921. Sword has bugle quillons and langets, polished turned wood grip with disc pommel. A well made and interesting piece. No scabbard.
A fine 'LUFTWAFFEN - KAMPFMESSER' WW2 combat knife used by the German Paratroops. A captured souvenir. Wood grip with three rivets. Blade 6.5". Iron cross guard. Makers mark to the ricasso. These knives made by PUMA. In its black painted steel scabbard. *NOTE: Scratched to back the owners name 'JAGER BECKMANN 35 (or Z) UD?' Unit details unclear. Looks like '3.ZUD'. Scarce
A fine Imperial German Officers Deers Foot trench dagger. Double edged blade 6" with double headed Eagle motif and the letters 'I.P.'. S Quillons in its leather scabbard with green 'Jager' Regiment Troddel. Retaining loop has part detached but no losses & should stitch back. A lovely quality knife of WW1 vintage.
A good original Imperial German WW1 trench knife. Grooved wooden grips secured by 3 rivets. Crossguard with up swept quillon and turned down front piece. Blade 6" approx with double edged spear point. In its steel scabbard with frog loop (a/f but no losses) In good original untouched condition.
A U.S. WW1 Model 1918 Knuckle Knife. Brass knuckle-duster hilt with U.S. 1918 over H.D.& S. 1918 (Henry Disston & Sons) Shortened double edged blade 6". in an improvised scabbard cut down from a Ross Rifle bayonet scabbard. Crude belt loop cut from top of scabbard. Item is well worn and appears of some age. However these knives are widely copied and this one is Sold as seen.
An 1821 Pattern Artillery Officers sword by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London. Sword number 35867 which dates it to 1898 just prior to the Boer War. The owners initials are etched in the blade with R.A. engraving of Coat of Arms etc. A good quality sword. Three dents to scabbard otherwise an untouched 'sleeper'.
A Third Reich German Luftwaffe officers dagger, 1st pattern, in sheath and with hanger. With leather grip and pewter inlaid swastika motifs to the pommel and cross guard. Blade stamped Robert Klaas, Solingen. Blade length 30.5cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Some slight pitting to the blade. Slight dents and wear to the scabbard.
A Victorian Scottish pipers dirk with knife and fork en suite in leather scabbard with silver mounts engraved with thistles. Each component is set with a cairngorm, the main dirk with a carved bog oak hilt and with fullered blade having file work to the un sharpened back. Blade length 29.25cm Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Good condition. Slight chips to the largest stone.
