A Third Reich 1st Pattern Luftwaffe Officer’s dagger, 31cm flattened diamond section blade by Weyersberg & Co, Solingen and stamped HI/FL. 157 388, regulation alloy hilt with swastika pommel and crossguard, wire bound blue leather covered grip, contained in its alloy mounted blue leather wrapped scabbard, complete with hanging chains. Leather worn.
A Third Reich SA dagger, 22cm flattened diamond section blade by WKC etched with the motto Alles fur Deutschland, characteristic Holbein hilt, the crossguard with district stamp P for Pommern, contained in its repainted scabbard, together with two German dress bayonets, each with plated hilt and black painted scabbards, one by Klaas and a relic First War German bayonet. A ROYAL SCOTS BASKET HILTED SWORD the Wilkinson Sword Co blade No 50721 with etched post 1902 crown, ROYAL SCOTS, thistles and partially erased name of [second lieutenant] J[ames] W[ilson] McT[urk] Raine (1896-k.i.a. 1916), later basket hilt, silver twist wire bound fishskin grip, suede backed scarlet felt lining, leather covered scabbard with nickel plated brass mounts (sold with the original cross hilt) Rehilted presumably for the present vendor (a former officer in the regiment) and in excellent overall condition. The leather scabbard slightly scuffed and with later brown leather strap. The original cross hilt stamped 32 and with some rust pitting
Bayonet - 1888 pattern bayonet MKII by Mole, in its MK1 scabbard, blade WD marked, dated May 1901 & "Mole". Pommel stamped "N" & "15" denoting Naval issue. Scabbard marked "N" & EFD (Enfield). *These bayonets were known to have been used by RND & RMLI in Gallipoli and the Zeebrugge Raid in April 1918 on the C.L.L.E.
