WW2 British 1st Pattern Fairbairn Sykes FS Commando knife by Wilkinson Sword, nickel plated example with steel ‘S’ shaped cross guard. Stiletto blade with evidence of service wear. Wilkinson Sword trademark and FS knife to the reverse. Housed in its original scarce 1st pattern scabbard with the Newey Patt securing stud. Blade 16 ½ cm, overall 31 ½ cm.
Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by C&R Linder, Solingen-Weyer, excellent example with brown wooden grip having nickel eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Lower cross guard stamped with district mark ‘Ns’. Housed in its anodised scabbard with single hanging ring. Attached to the hanging ring is a single leather hanging strap with metal clip fitting. Fine double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and reverse side with makers trade mark. Much of the original finish remains to the blade. The blade measures 22 ¼ cms, overall 37 ¼ cms. A more uncommon maker to find.

Housed in its correct leather scabbard with metal belt hook. Double edged blade showing slight signs of sharpening from use. Generally a good example of a desirable knife. Blade 17cms, overall 34cms.

WW2 USMC (US Marine Corps) Raiders Fighting Knife, one piece alloy grip with some slight staining to the blade but still with the rare USMC banner etched to the centre of the blade. Also maker marked by Camillus Cutlery & Co, Camillus N.Y. Housed in the original but restored leather scabbard. Blade 17cms, overall 34cms. It is believed only 15,000 of these knives were ever produced.

Housed in the original scabbard with single hanging ring with leather sword hanger still in place. Slightly curved polished blade with makers trade mark to the base. The blade measures 84 ½ cms, overall 99 ½ cms. Accompanied by a post card photograph, believed to be the original owner in Third Reich uniform.
WW2 German Kavallerie (Cavalry) Regiment Nr14 Tripple Etched Sword by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, being an other ranks dove head pattern with the wire binding still intact. Langet engraved with German armed forces eagle and swastika, reverse having the initials of the original owner in script. Housed in the original scabbard with single hanging ring. The blade being finely etched with patterned foliage, German army eagles & swastikas and a group of cavalry troops on horse back, the other side with regimental details. The blade measures 82 ½ cms, overall 98cms.

Regulation nickel plated basket hilt, copper wire bound fish skin covered grip , buckskin liner covered with red cloth and blue fabric edging,scarlet silk fringe beneath fluted pommel, in its leather-covered scabbard with nickel plated mounts. Remains in excellent overall condition.

Dutch Military Sidearm Klewang, curved swollen blade cut with a single fuller, 2-piece riveted grips, steel knuckle bow guard, in its brass mounted leather scabbard. Blade sharpened to edge. The blade measures 62 ½ cms, overall 77 ½ cms. These sidearms were popular weapons of choice by the allied forces fighting in the jungles of Burma against the Imperial Japanese forces, they were often sharpened to help cut through the jungle terrain.

Partially double edged knife blade with stamped mark of an eagle with number ‘6’ which would indicate issued to the Luftwaffe Field Divisions or ground assault Paratroopers. Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Erased Rohm Inscription Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen-Foche , untouched example of a SS enlisted mans dress dagger with ebony grip having nickel eagle and enamel SS runes insignia. Lower mount with ‘III’ stamp and also the original owners service number ’20 494’, the last number being an over stamp. Housed in its anodised scabbard with single hanging ring and single leather hanging strap with metal clip. Double edged blade with motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse of the blade shows clear removal of the Rohm inscription, the makers trademark still intact. The blade shows some wear but still generally a good example of a desirable SS mans dagger which is possibly able to be researched with the owners service number. Blade 22cms, overall 36 ¾ cms.

Scarce Attributed WW2 2nd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes FS Commando Knife by Wilkinson Sword, good example with Wilkinson trademark and The FS Fighting Knife. Grip is stamped ‘W E GRAY’ and also impressed to the leather scabbard with the same details. Blade remains in very nice condition overall. Blade measures 16cms, overall 33cms. Repair to the elastic strap.
Scarce American Civil War Confederate States of America (C.S.A) Cavalry Sword, slightly curved single edge blade cut with a single fuller on both sides an etched within those fullers “A POX ON YANKEES” and “C. S. A.”, regulation brass hilt, sideguard pierced with flowering foliage and scrolls, one piece spiral carved horn grip, in its scabbard now covered with gold paint and with both suspension rings missing. Good condition, grip chipped at base, blade sharpened for field service. Blade 75.3cms.
British 1907 Hook Quillon Bayonet Regimentally Marked to the Royal Highlanders, by Enfield, dated 4/13 (April 1913). With acceptance stamps. Housed in scabbard with 1908 webbing bayonet frog and later (in our opinion reproduction) halve attachment. Bayonet is a very nice example. Blade 43 ¼ cm, overall 59cms.

Fine double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and reverse side with makers trade mark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 36 ¾ cms. Bottom ball is dented on scabbard but still generally a good example by a scarce maker.

Straight narrowing blade cut with two central fullers. Armourers stamps to the forte and engraved details to the spine. Blade 95 ½ cms, overall 116 ½ cms.

Lower cross guard without any district mark. Housed in its RZM type painted scabbard with single hanging ring. Near mint condition double edged blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and reverse side with RZM trade mark and makers code RZM M7/37. The blade measures 22 ¼ cms, overall 37 ½ cms.
Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Model 1936 Officers Chained Dress Dagger, fine example with ebony grip having aluminium eagle and enamel SS runes inserted. Grip mounts unmarked with just some small areas of verdigris which would clean off. Housed in its anodised scabbard with Type B hanging chains, with closed loops, skull without nasal septum and tapered top upper links. Reverse of the chain with SS rune acceptance stamp. Excellent condition blade with much of the original finish remaining. Motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’ and correct no makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Small area of repair to the grip on the lower front section and also around the eagle, but generally a very good example of a SS officers dress dagger. See the reference work, ‘The Service Daggers of the SS’ by Siegert for attribution of the chains type, the reference work by Thomas T Wittmann also shows this type of chain but he lists it as a Type 2.

1882 Pattern British Cavalry Troopers Sword, of regulation pattern, slightly curved single edge blade, cut with a single fuller and struck with extensive government inspectors’ marks and issue dates, regulation iron guard pierced with Maltese cross, 2 piece chequered leather grips, in its steel scabbard. Blade 87 ½ cms, overall 103 ½ cms. Exterior has been painted in black paint. Blade shows some wear with surface staining etc.
Scarce ‘Fat Boy’ Pattern Fairbairn Sykes FS Commando Knife, good example with slight surface wear to the blade. Acceptance stamps for some reason removed by a previous owner on the ferrule, possibly when exported to the US army. Housed in its original fat boy type scabbard (see The Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife and other Commando Knives’ by Flook page 112) with nickel bottom chape. Scabbard missing one leg tab and shows wear consistent with the condition of the knife. Still a rare and hard to find pattern. Blade 17cms, overall 32 ½ cm.
Scarce Italian Bayonet, being a facetted brass handled example with spring catch to the reverse. Housed in a leather and brass mounted scabbard. Blade unmarked, measuring 63cms, overall 75cms.
