This bayonet we are of the opinion has been made of original wartime and post war parts. Sold as seen.

Housed in green finished scabbard with brown leather belt frog fitted. Blade with standard motto and Karl Burgsmuller maker details. Generally good condition. We are of the opinion that this dagger has been made using both original and post war pieces. Sold as seen.

WW2 German Army Officers Dress Dagger with Hanging Straps and Portepee by Alcoso, dagger with white celluloid grip, attached to the grip is original officers dress portepee. Housed in its original scabbard. The blade is etched with presentation in gothic script to both sides of the blade, “Das Offiz Korps III/I Rgt 204” and “Zum 253. Hichenlaub 8.6.1943”. Dagger is accompanied by a pair of restored hanging straps. Dagger is sold as seen, we are not guaranteeing the originality of the presentation inscription on the blade.

Third Reich NSKK Leaders Dress Dagger by Anton Wingen, with brown handle having enamel SA device and eagle inserted. Complete with the scabbard having the NSKK leaders chains attached. The chains are correctly marked to the reverse. The blade has the motto “Alles fur Deutschland” and is marked with RZM M7/51 1939 and knight emblem of maker Anton Wingen. The blade also has an engraved gothic presentation “DEM SIEGER SA. WINTERSPORTKAMPFER GR. BAYER. OSTMARK 4/5 FEBR 1939”. Some surface staining to the blade. We are of the opinion that the inscription to the blade has been applied at a later period and do not guarantee the authenticity of the inscription.

Un-maker marked blade. Officers dress portepee attached to the grip and leather belt loop to the chains. We are of the opinion that this dagger is a excellent quality post war representation.

Sudanese Sword Kaskara, Probably Sudan Campaign Period, broad straight double edge blade etched on both sides with panels containing pious inscriptions in thulth script, brass crosspiece, grip covered with crocodile skin, in its scabbard made from Nile crocodile skin and incorporating the lower jaw of the reptile with its front feet tied together. Overall 101cms, blade 88cms. Good condition, crocodile’s tail missing.

Overall 94cms, blade 79cms. Good condition, some service age wear overall.

Birm.m. 1795, the reverse etched with crowned Q.s O. 7 LD (7th Queens Own Light Dragoons), regulation iron stirrup hilt, wooden grip, in its iron scabbard engraved WOOLEY &Co. BIRMm, and with rack number C4. Overall 79cms, blade 66cms. Fair condition, hilt and scabbard with cleaned heavy pitting, grip age cracked and with leather covering missing.

Rare Imperial German Garde Pioneer Battalion Marked 98/02 Sawback Bayonet, with two piece wooden grips. Rear cross guard stamped “G.P 49”. Thick blade with sawback edge, stamped with crown and “ERFURT” to the ricasso. Blade 42 ½ cms in length, 3 ½ cms wide, overall length of bayonet 56cms. Some surface pitting and wear. No scabbard. One of the rarer of the Imperial German bayonets. Used by pioneers troops to replace the Pioneer-Faschinenmesser and is sometimes referred to as the Pioneer-Steitengwehr M98/02.

WW2 German Naval Officers Dagger by WKC with Hanging Straps and Dress Knot, good example of the WW2 German naval officers dress dagger by WKC with the orange celluloid grip retaining the original wire binding. Gilt top pommel with gold wire dress portepee attached and tied around the cross guard with fouled anchor and press stud release. Grip and cross guard slightly loose and in need of slight attention. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is an original, slightly miss-matched pair of hanging straps. One clip damaged on the long strap. Fine double edged blade with standard etch of foliage and fouled anchor. WKC makers trade mark to the base of the blade. The blade measures 25cms, overall 42cms. Some damage and small section of the handle missing behind the knot, making the handle fittings loose

A Victorian 2nd Life Guards officer's 1874 pattern "State" sword, blade 36" with hatchet point, the ricasso etched "B. GRACE Master Tailor" in foliate panel, the regulation pattern hilt having applied brass "2LG" cypher and crown, and fish skin covered grip, in its brass mounted steel scabbard. Basically GC (part of the brass cypher and grip wire missing, surface rust to scabbard, throat mount retaining screws missing). Although referred to by Robson as the 1874 pattern, he states that it was first mentioned in the 1872 Dress Regulations and that an example with hatchet point is known to be from 1860. £150-200
