Urn pommel with American eagle. Shagreen covered, ribbed grip. Contained in its plated scabbard with floral decorated mounts.

Contained in its steel scabbard with loose hanging rings. Complete in a black, patent leather, baldric belt with cast white metal buckle, slider and end tab, all with thistle decoration. The end mount with maker R W Forsyth Ltd Edinburgh & Glasgow. Hilt polished with some loss of finish. Good clean period example.
