Blade and scabbard not bent. Scabbard very worn, 37.25" long. Sword - handle, blade and guard worn. Blade - 36.25" long.

Marked with a crown over an 8. Next - leather scabbard worn and cracked. Mounts very worn. Marked CH & SF 1899. Bayonet - various marking inc. NEP8124 to handle. Button works but stiff. Last - Scabbard rusting worn and pitted. Bayonet marked with symbols. Blade with some pitting. Handle very worn. Button works but stiff.
Edward VII Royal Engineers officer`s dress sword having belonged to Major W. P. Pakenham Walsh. Engraved with his name and crest, made by Edward Thurkle, Denmark Street London, with steel guard and pommel, shagreen and wire grip, the fullered blade stamped `10405` in steel mounted leather scabbard, with relevant photocopies of The London Gazette. Note: W. P. Pakenham Walsh was killed on active service on July 1st 1916.
Major-General Reginald G. S. Hobbs` sword inscribed `Presented to Gentleman Cadet Reginald G. S. Hobbs on his obtaining his commission from the Royal Military Academy for exemplary conduct whilst at the institution`, with steel guard and pommel, shagreen and wire grip, blade stamped 61399 in brown leather scabbard. NOTE: Hobbs was commissioned in the Royal Artillery in 1928. He played rugby for England against South Africa at Twickenham in 1932 and then served in India. He fought in World War II becoming Commanding Officer of 104th Regiment (Essex Yeomanry), Royal Horse Artillery in the Western Desert taking part in the battle of El Alamein in 1942 and then being deployed to North West Europe as a General Staff Officer. After the war he was Chief of Staff for Combined Operations. Then in 1950, he became Commander Royal Artillery for 1st Infantry Division In the Middle East. He was made Commander of 2nd Infantry Brigade in 1951, Commandant of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1954 and Director of the Royal Artillery at the War Office in 1957. He went on to be General Officer Commanding 1st Division in 1959 before retiring in 1960.Leather scababrd worn but complete and intact. Some wear to engraved decoration on blade but inscription clearly visible, and some tarnishing. Shagreen worn and pommel worn.
