Bayonet: A scarce P07 bayonet with hooked fighting quillon made at Enfield in April 1912. Bayonet was sold to Australia in time for the Gallipoli campaign. The ricasso bears the sold out of service marks and the crossguard numbers '22323'. Scabbard marked 'NSW' for New South Wales. The whole in good condition, some pitting to pommel. Scarce A/F
Bayonet: A scarce P07 bayonet with hooked quillon made at Enfield in June 1913. Blade 17' in good condition. Pommel marked '1G.G.' '128' 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards (could be coldstream). Bayonet would have been on issue from 1914 to 1916. In its steel mounted leather scabbard with correct tear drop stud. The whole in good condition.
Bayonet: A scarce P.07 bayonet with hooked fighting quillon. Pommel marked 'A-4234' denoting issue to the Royal Navy, confirmed by the 'N' (Navy) stamp on the ricasso. Most SMLE rifles issued to the Navy went to Gallipoli with the RND. The ships used the C.L.L.E. In its steel mounted leather scabbard with teardrop scabbard. Bayonet made by Enfield in September 1909. In good overall condition.

Worn and pitted overall. 2) No4 MKII Spike (no scabbard) stamped 'SN'. 3) No 9 Bowie bladed bayonet (No scabbard) GC. 4) India Pattern SMLE short unfullered blade ricasso marked GRI MKII '1.45 & RGI' GC (No scabbard) (4)
Sword + Bayonet - An 1845 Pattern Infantry Officers sword. Brass guard with 'V.R.' Cypher. Folding guard. Slim single edged blade 32" (tip rounded). Wirebound fishskin hilt. In grubby but sound condition, no scabbard. Plus a French Model 1866 Sabre bayonet with the trade stamp of Weyersberg at the ricasso. No scabbard. Blade rounded at the tip. (2)
Swords: 1) A French early 19th century Briquet sword. Brass ribbed hilt (28 ribs). Unfullered blade 24" approx with oval stamp to ricasso. Blade with numerous nicks. 2) A French Model 1866 Chasspot. Swords: 1) a (tourist?) quality Spanish Bullfighters sword. Traditional hilt (quillon broken & present). In its steel mounted leather scabbard. 2) A good court type sword by 'T. Guthrie of Cork St. London'. Slim blade 32" with foliate engraving and a coat of arms. Brass ornate straight crossguard with clamshell type guard. Wirebound grip with brass crown shaped pommel. Sword: A 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Troopers Sword. Excellent fullered broad blade 33" marked with the Board of Ordnance 'B6O' mark and top of the blade 'WOOLLEY'. Leather wrap grip (wear and minor losses). Back piece with 'EAR' Good stirrup hilt. In its iron scabbard (painted black) with medium pitting overall. Two rings. A good example of this iconic sword with an above average blade.
