Army pattern downward winged eagle and swastika to the cross guard, raised relief to the knuckle bow leading to panther head with red jewelled eyes. Back strap with relief. Black celluloid covered grip with wire binding. Housed in the original black painted field scabbard with single hanging ring. Attached to the sword is a brown leather tear drop pattern sword hanger. Plain slightly curved blade with fuller to the back edge. Some small nicks to the blade and rusting to the scabbard. Hilt gilt dulled.

Grip retains the original wire binding. Housed in its original black painted scabbard with brown leather tear drop hanger. Slightly curved single edged blade with fuller to back edge. Makers mark to the underneath of the langet. Blade measures 89 ½ cms in length. Some surface spotting to the blade but overall a good example.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Officers Dress Sword, nickel silver example with large pommel having mobile swastikas to each side, blue leather covered grip retaining the original wire, cross guard with mobile swastikas to the centre of each side. Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver top and lower mounts. Fine double edged blade with central fuller and SMF Solingen trade mark to the base. Complete with the blue leather washer to the top of the blade. Some scuffing and wear to the leather sections and staining to the nickel silver fittings.

Blue leather covered scabbard with aluminium mounts and linked chain hanger with OLC Ges Gesch marked clip. Double edged blade with Carl Eickhorn makers trade mark to the base. Some very light surface staining to the blade. Some wear to the leather covering of the scabbard. Overall a good example.

Gilt top pommel in the from of German eagle with swastika to centre. Cross guard with fouled anchor to centre and release clip to the reverse. Officers bullion dress knot / portopee attached to the grip. Dagger is housed in the deluxe pattern hammered scabbard with two hanging strap rings. Double edged blade etched with sailing ships and anchor. F W Holler, Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Much of the original finish remains to the blade. Very good example.

Very Rare German Diplomatic Officials Dress Dagger by Alcoso with Dress Knot and Hanging Straps, the dagger being a fine example with two piece mother of pearl grips, stylised cross guard in the form of eagle and swastika with the eagles head facing the opposite direction to the eagle head top. Dagger has the original fixing screw to the top of the pommel. Dagger has the correct small pattern Government and Diplomatic officials bullion dagger knot / portopee. Housed in the original scabbard with oak leaf bands for the fitting of the hanging straps. Double edged plain blade with Alcoso, Solingen makers trade mark to the base. Some light surface staining to the tip section of the blade. Accompanying the dagger is the original pair of dress hanging straps with silver wire brocade set upon dark navy blue velvet, the metal fittings retain nearly all of the gilt wash finish. Some oxidisation to the silver brocade. The dagger has a nice untouched patina. A very good example of an incredibly rare Third Reich dagger.

WW2 Third Reich Red Cross Enlisted Ranks Dress Dagger, two piece grips and steel pommel, steel cross guard with DRK emblem to the centre. Housed in the original scabbard with bottom half circle mount and top chape. Saw back blade with screwdriver tip. Blade is marked “Ges Geschutzt” underneath the cross guard. Some staining to the blade and paint loss to the scabbard but overall a good example.

Double edged blade with motto, “Alles fur Deutschland” and makers trade mark for F Herder A.S, Solingen to the base. Much of the original finish still remains to the blade. Generally good example

Third Reich SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Robert Klaas Solingen, black ebony grip with eagle and enamel SS runes devices inserted. Complete with the original top and bottom cross guard. Reverse of the lower cross guard stamped “I”. To the underside of the cross guard is the original owners service number “88535”. Housed in its original scabbard with both top and bottom chapes. Double edged blade with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue” and makers trade mark to the base of Robert Klaas Solingen. Some surface staining to the blade and wear to the scabbard finish but overall a good untouched example with research potential.

Complete with its leather and gilt brass mounted scabbard. Double edged blade etched with foliage, trophy of arms and Italian eagle. No makers or retailers details visible. Blade measures 75cms in length. Good example overall.

Much of the original blueing remains to the blade. Housed in its original brown leather scabbard with blackened brass lower chape. Scabbard retains the original leather tabs but missing the top section of the scabbard. Good example overall.

Double edged stiletto type blade which measures 16cms in length. Housed in its original leather scabbard with blackened brass chape. Scabbard is complete with the original leather tabs and top section (no securing tape). Remains of the black finish to the grip.

Scabbard missing lower tabs and securing tape from the top section. Brass dark toned.

Press button release to the reverse of the dagger. Housed in its original black leather and brass mounted scabbard. Plain double edged blade measuring 22 ½ cms in length. Stamped “4258” to the forte. Two piece black leather hanging straps with silvered buckles and fittings.

Makers mark to the base of the blade but this is not clear, spine stamped with crowned W 75 and acceptance stamp. Housed in its original leather scabbard with brass mounts. Top scabbard mount with regimental stampings, lower mount damaged and piece missing.

Stamped “SIMSON & CO SUHL” to the forte and spine stamped with crown over GR and 04. Good untouched example.

Grip retains the original wire binding and gilt cipher to the centre. Officers leather backed wire braid knot / portopee. Housed in its original steel parade scabbard with two hanging rings. Straight single edged blade with double fuller. Blade has etched blue and gilt presentation panels to each side, in gothic script “Wilberg s/l Roestel” and the other side “Dem Feinde zum Gratz Dem freunde zum Schutz”, also etched with foliage. Some surface staining to the lower section of the blade and the blueing is now absent. Blade measures 81cms in length.

Single edged piped back blade with double etching, including gothic inscription “Gewidmet u.d. ausscheidendem Jahrgang 1897-99”, reverse etched with foliage and trophy of arms. Both sides with etched panels, having trophy of arms, foliage and one side with presentation in gothic script “Uhrem verehrten Hauptmann U Bohne II Compagnie Birkefelder Schutzenbataillon 28.8.97”. Early WKC makers trade mark to the base of the blade, measures 80 ½ cms. Remains in very good overall condition.

Blade measures 78 cms in length. Exterior hilt fittings painted black for front line use during the First World War. Swords carried and issued for service in the front lines were often painted black or grey to stop shine and reflection in the trenches.

Single edged blade with etched to both sides and spine. Presentation inscription in gothic script, “Dem sergeant Peter als besten berittfuhrer der 5 Eskadron Dragoner-Regiments Prinz Karl im Jahre 1899 (Kaiser Mauover)”. Other side of the blade etched with foliage. Blade remains in good condition. The sword knot shows wear and has been repaired in places. Blade measures 80cms in length. Housed in the original steel scabbard with hanging straps and sword belt.
