Arabian Jambiya Dagger with curved double edged blade 212mm in length which is maker marked "MML London". Interesting decoration to both ferule, pommel and scabbard, with different patterns and finish. One side is decorated in brass with one pattern, while the other is done in white metal and has a different pattern. Wooden grip. Overall length 350mm. Scabbard has twin suspension rings and is complete with maroon suspension cord.
A GERMAN IMPERIAL COURT SWORD OF EARLY 20TH CENTURY, by the maker J.J.Runkel of Solingen, Germany, the blade is approximately 82 cm in length, with flat top blade bearing the maker marks, also hardly visible is stamped what appears to be 'D.Neff' on the Ricasso, Johan Justus Runkel was born in 1751, but around 1779 he left Germany for London, where he set up his Swords business, importing blades etc from Solingen. Runkel died in 1808, the blade on this sword has been etched with the Geo III Cypher(dating it to 1796-1801) and other Crown & Standard markings along each side of the top third of the blade, the Vendors Grandfather, Dr Ernest Charles BARNES who was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Army Medical Corps in WW1, gave the sword to the vendor when he was a child, Barnes served with distinction in WW1 and with this lot are copied photos of Barnes in Uniform and on Horseback in France, the scabbard is of leather and metal trim design ,but wear and tear over the years has caused the metal tip to break away from the scabbard, but is present, an interesting sword worthy of further research
THREE VICTORIAN AND POSSIBLY LATER SWORDS, one is in a leather scabbard with an ornately decorated blade, but the blade has some surface rust , there may be some proof marks under the rust, the handle and hilt look to be in decent condition, the other two swords have no scabbards and one is possibly a ceremonial type sword, the other has a curved blade but no markings
WWII ERA GERMAN LUFFWAFFA PARADE DAGGER, the blade is marked ' Soligen & E&F Hörster' and comes in its scabbard, the pommel twists easily and the handle can be removed to show natural aging inside, part of the wire around the handle has just started to break away slightly, but is still in very good condition
TWO BOXES OF UNIFORMS, KIT BAGS AND A SWORD, to include a RAF Great Coat, two Jackets, one with rank of corporal, a wireless radio operator, a blouson jacket and two pairs of trousers, also in the box is a military issue compass and three knives, the sword is missing its scabbard and has no identifying marks on the blade, a tourist style Ostrich egg with a picture of two soldiers on it
A WOODEN GLAZED BOX STYLE FRAME MEASURING APPROX 50 x 42 cm, containing an ornate Arab Jambiya Dagger and scabbard. The grip appears to be bone with metal and wired inlays, white metal detailing at the ricasso, the scabbard is very ornate metal and leather with very fine white metal filigree detailing, also mounted in the frame is a brass version of the Saudi Arabia Coat of Arms. It has not been possible to date this item, but it was presented to a Female officer in the R.A.F. possibly for Service in the Kingdom

A 19th century Chinese sword with double edged, twin fullered blade with engraved Dragon on the ricasso, in its original wooden scabbard with metal mounts. Blade length 74cms (29.125ins)Condition ReportSword has general wear, blade is pitted but not rusty, handle and guard are intact but gilt decoration is rubbed. ~The scabbard has general wear, mounts intact but gilt decoration has rubbed away.The shagreen paper effect covering has worn away in a couple of places.

Blade length 76.5cms (30.125ins)Condition ReportThe sword is well worn and the blade has corroded all over. The brass knuckle guard and handle have tarnished all over. The scabbard is also well worn and is pitted all over. Commensurate with age.

A George V dress sword by C Boyton, in a leather scabbard, 103cms long.Condition ReportThe sword has general wear, the blade is in good condition with no rust or pitting, hand guard has light surface scratching and no corrosion on the outside, some light corrosion inside, the shagreen hand and wirework grip intact, the scabbard leather covering has numerous scuffs and cracks.
