Housed in the original leather scabbard with brass mounts. Blade with fuller to the back edge. Stamped Solingen to the forte and stamped 262 to the spine. Leather has shrunk in places. Brass work polished.

Unusual Indian Sword Tulwar from Mysore, broad curved pattern welded blade engraved with the Armoury inscription of Krishnaraja Wodeyar III (reg.1799-1868), brass hilt with elephant head pommel and with lion attacking the elephant’s trunk forming the knuckle bow, chiselled in relief with floral and foliate ornaments, in later fabric covered scabbard. Blade 70.5cms. Good condition.

The black grip with twist wire binding is surmounted by a oak leaf ornamented combined backstrap and pommel. Housed in original black painted steel scabbard with one loose ring. A good example with nickel mounts, the blade etched 'Alles fŸr Deutschland' and bearing maker's dancer logo. Brown wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and swastika and enamelled circular SA device; crossguard stamped with 'No' (SA Group Nordsee). Housed in original brown anodised scabbard with nickel mounts, the top mount with single suspension ring retaining brown leather hanging strap with spring clip. Minor service wear, blade with polishing marks where Ršhm inscription was removed. GC Following Hitler's purge of the SA during 'The Night of the Long Knives', Ršhm was shot at Stadelheim Prison by SS-ObersturmbannfŸhrer Michael Lippert on 2nd July, 1934, An order dated July 4th required all Rohm inscriptions to be obliterated from the blades, failure to do so risked severe punishment.

A good nickel example of the 1934 model, the blade bearing etched motto 'Arbeit adelt', the reverse with RJAD in triangle, 'Ges. Gesch' and maker's oval logo; eagle and cogwheel swastika ornamented crossguard; two piece simulated stag horn grip with stylised eagle pommel. Housed in its black painted regulation scabbard, the nickel chape with spade and swastika device, the top mount with ornate design and bearing hanger bar. Complete with brown leather hanger and spring clip stamped with triangular logo. Minor service wear. GC Hanger leather with tear. Reichs Arbeits Dienst was the State Labour Service.

The aluminium crossguard and langet bearing an eagle and swastika; the pommel ornamented with swastika and oakleaves, the swastika highlighted in gold. Housed in its metal scabbard fitted with two suspension rings. Complete with aluminium wire portepee (knot) and hanging straps. VGC Introduced in July 1937. Names on daggers were sometimes removed by Officers before surrendering to the Allies to avoid bringing shame on their family.

Housed in its finely pebbled plated scabbard, the oakleaf bands retaining both loose suspension rings. Toned externally, blade bright. VGC Introduced in March 1939; production ceased in mid 1942.

Housed in its plated pebbled scabbard, the throat with matching number, with both lined bands retaining loose suspension rings. Small dent to scabbard. GC TENO (Technische Nothilfe) was the Technical Emergency Corps. Dagger introduced in November 1938.

Housed in original black anodised scabbard with nickel mounts, the top mount with single suspension ring. Minor service wear. GC NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) wore standard SA daggers from 1933 until 1936 when black scabbards were adopted.

The plated blade, plating slightly lifting, bears maker's details on one side, maker's knight's head logo on the other; A313 stamp to back of the blade and grip backstrap as well as scabbard top mount. Housed in brown leather scabbard with plated mounts and complete with brown leather frog. Both bayonet and scabbard stamped with matching numbers 'L.A1.281' No movement to blade. Service wear to scabbard otherwise overall VGC.

Housed in black painted scabbard with retaining press stud and broken securing strap. A little wear overall. GC Introduced in 1933 with the motto 'Blut und Ehre' on the blade. Motto discontinued in August 1938.

BY THE NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND GUNNERS OF THE 2ND GLOUCESTERSHIRE ARTLY VOLUNTEERS, AS A MARK OF THEIR APPRECIATION OF THE DEVOTED SERVICES RENDERED BY HIM TO THEIR CORPS AND AS A MEMORIAL OF THEIR ADMIRATION OF HIS UNIFORM CONDUCT AS AN OFFICER.'. The forte with the details of Hamburger Rogers & Co. of London. The hilt with a three bar open guard, which encloses a Wilkinson style patent metal grip. Housed in steel scabbard with two loose rings. Blade in good clean condition. Slight age wear.

AND OTHER OLD COMRADES APRIL 1882'. The forte with the retailers details of 'Silver & Co. London'. The hilt is the regulation pattern with a Victorian crowned strung bugle device. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in black leather and silver plated mounted scabbard. Etching clear.
Georgian Honourable East India Company Officer's Sword. A rare example, the single edged curved 32 inch blade with engraved crowned GR cypher and Royal Coat of Arms. The back of the blade with cutler's details. The ornate cross guard terminates with lion heads and the centre is embossed with a Company Lion device. A lion head pommel with gilt mane surmounts a white chequered grip. Housed in original red velvet covered scabbard, with gilt embossed mounts, these depicting a sheep's heads and monkey faces. Overall GC but PLEASE NOTE, pommel to hilt slack.
Napoleonic War Period French Hussar Officer's Sword with Indian Blade. A rare and unusual example, the curved 29 inch blade is plain with only gold inlaid Indian script towards the forte. The hilt with polished horn grips and a gilt cross guard with turned finials. The underside of the cross guard is stamped 'Versailles' and with a letter 'B'. Housed in original black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. Also retaining what appears to be the original bullion tassels. Sword fits tight to scabbard, some shrinkage to the leather, not effecting the overall appearance.
Early 19th Century Indian Gift Sword of Naval Interest. This sword is believed to be possibly a gilt to a European Naval Officer. The single edged 22 1/ 2 blade with damask. The hilt with a white grip and mounted with a most probably Indian silver (not tested) cross guard and langet. This with engraved decoration depicting King Neptune riding a chariot being pulled by two sea horses. This decoration is repeated to the silvered mounts of the blue velvet scabbard. GC.

Overall good condition, gilt worn to places, point of bladed possibly slightly re-sharpened.

The hilt with fire gilt langets and cross guard. The two piece white grip secured by gilt mounts. Housed in black patent leather scabbard with gilt mounts. Gilt remains bright some age wear to patent leather. Very point tip slightly bent.

A scarce early 19th Century example, the single edged blade with retailer's name of Hamburger, Rogers & Co, 30 King Street. he remainder of the blade is plain. The polished steel guard is mounted with entwined gilt metal letters L.G, surmounted by a crown and bears gilt metal stud decoration. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in plain steel scabbard and two loose rings. The hilt is with a later white buff lining and correct plain white buff leather knot. Minor wear to the scabbard. This sword would date from 1901 to 1917.
