A French M1821 infantry officer’s sword, curved fullered blade 28”, DE at point, etched with trophies, florets and flourishes and blued and gilt for half length, ornamental brass hilt with ovoid guard into knucklebow with sidebar, forward sloping cap shaped pommel with vine leaf border, wirebound leather grip, in its leather scabbard with brass chape and lock with frog stud. GC the blade retaining 60% blueing and gilding (scabbard leather replaced)

A Masonic sword, DE blade 30” with etched decoration (worn), brass mounted hilt with crown pommel and flat crosspiece embossed with crowned crosses and ribbons bearing the letters “PDEP”, with trefoil finials, the spiral grip of wire bound ivory, in its leather scabbard with scroll engraved brass mounts, the hilt and scabbard mounts retaining traces of gilt.
